What kind of improvements do the Sage's Wills make on the companion spirits' abilities?

Their attacks are supposed to be stronger. Maybe the are, but it seems to me they rarely attack without my input so I can't really tell a difference.

ETA: I've only found 8 sages wills and only upgraded the wind spirit and the lightning spirit.

I'm not exactly sure what the value is of this.

I'd argue it's the most valuable of the 3. With 3 overworld maps, there's no way I can remember if I've been somewhere or not. Especially the sky islands.

I see. So you use it to determine if you've never visited a specific area?

Just finished the Water Temple. I'm not sure why, but it felt more epic than the Fire Temple even though it was essentially the same thing. Maybe the puzzles were tougher, or because Sidon is a badass while Yunobo is a goober.

Yep. Really helpful with the random off the path places and when in the sky trying to decide if you wanna soar over to one or not.

Also learned tonight that the lightscale trident doubles in power (along with whatever you fused it with) whenever you are wet. Couldn't figure out why it was 106 sometimes power at first.

Every Zora weapon is like this.

The Gerudo weapons double the power of whatever you fuse to them. They work great with gloom weapons.

Just finished the game. They did a great job of making it feel epic. That was a fun sequence. Way better than BOTW'S ending.

I got impatient and didn't get the last 4 or 5 shrines. I'm sure there's a random side quest or 3 I missed and whatnot, too. It just got to a point where I was really worried some random YouTube video would spoil it in a thumbnail, so I wanted to get to the end just to keep that from happening. I'll slowly work on those remaining quests/shrines as we wait for the DLC.

I'm mildly disappointed with one thing, but I'll wait until most everybody has finished to discuss. Just a nitpick.

Ah, I paid for the rest of the compendium pics. However, there's one picture missing in the monster section, rven though it says I have a full set. Either I missed a rando monster or it's set aside for a DLC monster.

Is it on the bottom row? Those are all final boss-related and the Light Dragon. Would make sense for him not to have those in his compendium.

I did the lightning Temple yesterday, and I thought it was fantastic. Definitely the closest to an old school dungeon with the rooms, puzzles, and actually having more than just 1 type of enemy in the temple. Hell even looking at the map felt like I was looking at a OoT or LttP dungeon map.

Decided that I need to stop exploring and getting, "Look! Squirrel!" sidetracked and start the main quest. This game is not very friendly running around with no heart or stamina upgrades and the tutorial armor. It's all fun and games until you run out of bomb flowers or that terrifying gloom hands monster rushes you in open space without a tree or rock to climb.

well you don't need to do any main quest stuff to get more hearts and stamina, however I do agree that at least doing the 4 main regional quests should be a priority in order to get the Sage powers.

I did the wind temple very early in my playthrough, and once I saw how relatively easy the boss was and how useful the sage was afterwards, I decided to finish all four temples before doing the bulk of my exploration. After I finished the fourth, I stopped main quest stuff and did nothing but explore and complete side quests/adventures as I encountered them

I started the game shrine grinding. Filled my stamina wheel. Did the wind temple by accident. Then fell into the gloom and started light root grinding. Then I learned to love my air cycle. Then I started grinding for zonite cause I needed more battery. Who needs stamina when you have bettery? Once I did enough Zonite for 5 batteries and had all the Zonite armor I figured out just light root grinding and grabbing Zonia crystals from abandoned mines and yiga clans was much easier. So did nothing but air bike around and get light roots and completely explore the underworld.

I have 85 shrines completed. Underworld completely mapped except for maybe 2 light roots. Have done the Wind and Lightning temples. Just finished upgrading my pad. Not really sure what to do next. Im an explorer at heart and I've seen just about everything to see on the maps. I guess I need to actually do some quests now and finish the other temples.

I've got 3 tagging along with me at the moment. They're getting pretty annoying. I'm thinking about just having Tulin with me at all times and bring out Yunobo when I need him. Sidon's power is pretty useless.

Any good Lets Plays out there with a decently funny host(s)?

I am watching Game Grumps but watch them just as soon as they release and I love watching this game when I’m not playing myself.
