They're great when I want to explore and not get bothered with the low powered enemies. I upgraded three of them so they actually do more damage. I was shocked when I was fighting a flux boss and they rushed him and broke him apart for me lol.

I don’t disagree with this. Basically I’m constantly turning them on and off depending on what I’m doing. Wish there was a quicker way to do this

I was excited about that at first, then I realized his explosion shoots all the materials all over the place. He is helpful for destroying a rock barrier, though.

Does it bother anyone else that your Zonai builds disappear when you die. I get that they can't last forever, but it would be nice to go back to a save point and the device still be there. I had one of those quests to clear out a monster base. So, I thought I would take some time to create a death mobile. Well, I did a poor job engineering it, and I died pretty quickly. When I respawned, everything was gone, and when I went back to an earlier save, it was gone even though it was in the picture for the save point.
It just makes it seem sort of inefficient to make these cool contraptions when they don't last if you're not super careful.
ETA: I know there is autobuild, but I don't want to have to spend Zonaite or use even more devices from the gumballs after I just lost them when I died.

It's really annoying when saving. I made that mistake early on when I saved and closed out, only to come back later and it was gone.

Apparently any construct with Gleeok parts will have a persistence radius 10X greater than other Zonai creations.

I did realize that there were tons of mines in the Depths that I missed early on in my exploration. Lots of Large Crystalized Charges in the chests there.

Been exploring the Depths. There's a weird structure not far from Kato Lightroot in the extreme NW corner of the map. The music changes but nothing obvious is happening there right now. Ascending through the bottom takes me back to the surface. Is this a point of interest at some point in the game? Just a yes/no non-spoilery answer will do.

Damn. I found that spot yesterday and was confused on why it had an Ascend column just to go up to the middle of a barren snowfield.

Try as I might, I cannot get the hang of navigating with one of those 2 x fan + Control Stick airbikes to save my life.
