I spent about 20 minutes trying to duplicate stuff. Got one diamond and decided it wasn't worth my time.

They are selling diamonds in Goron City, but the spoiler free version is they won't let me buy them yet. I'll probably need to finish that dungeon first.

ETA but if you are still interesting in duping, I tried a few things I found online but the method I posted was the easiest and worked immediately.

Just broke down and bought a Switch. Should I play BOTW or Skyward Sword first? Or just jump right into Tears of the Kingdom blind?

I have Skyward Sword but never got more than 5 mins in.

BOTW was the definitive Zelda experience... until 2 weeks ago.

Your appreciation for TOTK will be infinitely deeper if you play BOTW first.

Hell, there's an argument to be made for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity first, if we're being honest.

Or just watch a video on the story and dive into Tears since it's a more realized version of BotW.

Definitely BOTW first, then TOTK.

Archipelago in the SE
All the pieces are in the curly fry looking islands. I got all of them the other day and they’re great.

The worst part was trying to get all the way to the top in order to the dive.

Yes, sort of. Feed them to the weird cow looking animals across the river from the stable in Faron. Come back later and they poop out gems (including diamonds). You can quickly up quantities of those this way to sell for more, or use for armor upgrades.
Wait what? In the town with the goofy guy in the lab with a sign on his door. I came across some cow like animals. I tried to shoot them

He's talking about the Faron area. Across from that stable in what I used to call "PowerPoint Forest" because of the frame drops.

I'm sure it's been said but I finally found some decent weapons in the depths and man what a difference

So what's the trick to the depths? Potions or avoiding certain areas? Better weapons would definitely be ideal

Lots and lots of of those light bulb things and scouting from the high ground. Best to avoid fights unless you want think you can take them

Lightroots are exactly where surface shrines are. Hopefully that helps navigate.

You don't have to get to the top under your own power.

I started at the lowest island and talked to the Construct by the splash pool. He'll teleport you up to activate the start gate.

Untimed dry run which unlocks a Shrine on your first successful clear, then you pay one core for the timed run for the Glide Suit pieces.

Beat the game.

Y’all better bring some anti gloom and gloom reduction recipes with you when it’s time for the endgame.

I really appreciate the tweak to the sensor. The sound it makes isnt as intense and hell it even gives you elevation hints.
