Was working just fine last night for me
ETA I have absolutely no issue using it. Nintendo just has way too many things to put up with in this game. The fact that rupees no longer drop with most enemies annoys me to no end. Getting struck by lighting and dying multiple times pushed me over the edge. Found a ruby and went to town.

I haven't had any issue with rupees so far.

It's fine until you want to buy something. I reached my first dungeon around Goron City and the chest piece I needed to go in there costs 700.

I usually Hover around 2k rupees just selling random extra crap I don't need
Posted on 5/26/23 at 9:16 am to geauxtigers87
I found a ruby that sells for 1K for a stack of 10. I'm just going to spend some time tonight stocking up so money is just one less thing I'll have to worry about.

I have like 300 rupees to my name. Gonna try to farm luminous stone in Goron City and make some money.
I did two dungeons already, so right now my plan is just to shrine hunt and build up hearts and stamina. I've got like 33 shrines done so far.

Is this used for anything or can I sell it because I have a bunch

The dupe only worked for me for weapons. I got 16 weapons of each bows and swords. I saw a vid that the secret is exiting out twice before the bow with the Diamond/Ruby attached hits the ground.
I guess I am doing it wrong to collect diamonds/rubies.
I am at the water temple. I enjoyed getting to the mini boss but I think the mini boss sucks. Flying around with all defunct broken red bows in my inventory & I can't leave to go load up more food and weapons easily.

Just got my first piece of the Glide Suit. Picked up the Mask in the Dive Ceremony. That was intense.

I don't really buy many pieces of armor.
My daughter said you can gain resistances by attaching stones to shields but I haven't tried that yet myself.

I've only got the shirt! Where is the mask ceremony?
If y'all haven't tried it yet, there's a bunch of nice armor/shields/weapons in the floating Hyrule Castle near the spire. Not many enemies either.

This is the method I found easiest, and Goron City is the perfect place for it.
- have only 1 of the item you want to dupe in your inventory (if you have more just sell the rest in the town, Goron City apparently give you the best prices for ores)
- make sure the item you want to dupe is the last item in your inventory (drop and pick up again to send it to the back)
- have multiple other items in your inventory that you only have 1 of
- find a somewhat high spot to jump off of, break out the glider, then go to your menu and first "hold" one your 1 quantity items and THEN hold the item you want to dupe
- exit out of menu and back in real quick
- go to another single quantity item you have, hold, and again hold the dupe item which will still be in your inventory
- keep doing this until you run out of items or you hit the ground
What happens is every time you go back into the menu, Link will drop the items he's holding but I guess the glitch is the item in the last slot still shows up in the inventory when you go back to the menu. Once you hit the ground, pick it all up, go sell all but 1 of your dupe items, go again.
Goron City is ideal because there is a shrine on top of a ledge up the hill from the city that's good for jumping off of. When I collect my items, I glide down to the shop, sell, and then can teleport back to the shrine and start over. The shop has rock salt and a bundle of bamboo or something, so you can pick those up for 12 rupees a piece just to add more single quantity items.
Pro-tip: if you have a single bomb flower in your inventory, DON'T use that with this method. I blew the crap out of myself and almost all of my dropped inventory when I dropped it last night.

Jesus Christ.
How about you just play the game the way it was meant to be played?
Posted on 5/26/23 at 10:45 am to TideSaint
How about I paid money for it so I play it the way I feel like?
Like I said, it's just too much BS to put up with this game. I'll come to terms with the weapon system, so I'll have no qualms getting money in the easiest fashion.

I memorized his ideas and am to the point of getting sweet arse weapons and then they break or burn up. That I will gladly try all of his ideas.

Yes, sort of. Feed them to the weird cow looking animals across the river from the stable in Faron. Come back later and they poop out gems (including diamonds). You can quickly up quantities of those this way to sell for more, or use for armor upgrades.

I spent about 20 minutes trying to duplicate stuff. Got one diamond and decided it wasn't worth my time.
