You could always sign up for game pass ultimate and play over cloud on pretty much any device. I've been playing halo infinite over my Chromebook, and it runs perfectly.

For 30 bucks you get the first DLC (with the premium upgrade), supposedly releasing in 2024.
That's how I justified it to myself...if it comes out as a 10$ standalone DLC I'll feel silly.

I mean a bowl from chipotle with guac is like 15 bucks now. New games were 40-50 bucks 25 years ago. 30 bucks for early release and DLC seems reasonable.

not sure if I'm jumping on board for early access yet but if i decide to, i can essentially buy it for 30 dollars if i have the PC game pass?

Correct. Also includes the first story expansion. I cashed in some MS Rewards points for it.

I had a bunch of MS Rewards that I never think about and just dumped them into the upgrade. I am on the final battle of DA:O (1st play through) and have to get that behind me tonight.

I imagine the same deal applies for PC Game Pass. I have Game Pass Ultimate so can't really speak authoritatively on that. I got a 10% discount on the "premium upgrade" since I have Game Pass. Basically just cancelled out the sales taxes so it was still $35 after that got tacked on. It'd only be about $5 more if you don't have that discount.

Just for awareness Early Access doesn't apply if you're wanting to play Starfield on the cloud version in Game Pass. You'll still need the minimum PC specs etc. Just wanted to clarify as some people are expecting to play early on Game Pass cloud (which I'm not sure if it's even been confirmed Starfield will be available on the cloud).
