Pre ordered it for next Friday. It has worked in the past, changing the timezone on your system to play earlier. At least on the series X.

I preordered the constellation edition but I have no idea how I'm going to play it early, even though it's advertised.
The code is on a collectible credit chip in the box. Would be awesome if they sent the code in an email too

AMD has always been open. Main reason I love them over Nvidia. I never support closed ecosystems like them (Nvidia) and Apple, shouldn't be legal. Anti consumer as it comes.
Nvidia just used FSR2 for the first time on the switch for example.

FSR is open; AMD clearly barred DLSS from being used in Jedi Survivor and then planned on doing so with Starfield. They were asked directly, and repeatedly, whether they were requiring the exclusion of DLSS and XeSS in return for it being a sponsored title. They refused to answer for months. I’m glad they appear to have gotten their heads out of their arse, but let’s not pretend like they weren’t trying to push their own flavor of exclusivity.
