It's what's keeping it from being one of the GOATs. Love the fighting, and I've never played a game that I legit enjoyed traveling from point A to point B. I've been doing a lot of busy work, so I can't say much for the story, but towers, backpacks, camera stuff, fight the dragon people, etc... have no depth to it.

I’d tend to agree with that. Really my only complaint though. I’d put it up there with Arkham City as one of the top experiences I’ve had playing a game. Sure, other games like God of War, The Last of Us, Uncharted, might be better overall games but it’s srill a damn good game and hits home for me because Spider-Man is the 1A to Batman, my 1B.
Hope the DLC is worth it because it’s a must buy for me

I agree except for the backpacks. For some reason I enjoy those a lot. Idk why. I’m sure it’s something a lot of people will knock and they’ll see how they can improve it in the next version. I can’t think of anything else that I didn’t enjoy though.
It will be hard to top this one. Though I thought the same thing about Arkham Asylum and they topped it with Arkham City.

How can you compare?
One game was closed in and the other let you roam. AA shouldn't be compared to AC and Spider-Man in terms of open world.
This game is also hella repititive outside the main mission. Yeah I went grab backpacks etc just to open up the map but all the side missions suck. I'm 32, don't have time to waste on that filler. AC side missions felt like they had a little more depth. If you want to talk unique lore building side missions then talk Witcher 3.
This game is awesome. It feels good to swing, Peter is mouthy, the main story fills you with a legit sense of urgency. But this game has tons of bad time waste.

What you said about the side missions is simply not true. I will say whomever designed the challenges especially the bomb and drone ones is an a-hole.

I’ll also say that one thing I wish someone would have told me was the steep learning curve at the very beginning. I was expecting Arkham style combat with counters and strikes. It took some getting used to and took me getting my arse beat a few times before I got better

Just beat 100% of the game. Fantastic game. The story is really good, it could have been in a movie. Can’t wait for a sequel and DLC.

What’s everyone’s favorite suit in the game? After playing with the classic suit at the beginning I thought I’d never want to play with a different suit on. But the advanced suit is making it hard to take it off, really, really enjoy that one.

I thought the bomb ones were super easy. Drones were annoying though.

Did anyone else go back to the classic suit after Otto turned evil? Just felt tainted wearing the advanced suit, even though it’s badas, since Otto helped design it

I don't think I ever changed my suit once. I use the one that lets you get focus quickly. I didn't see the point in using the others.
