SJW's use this tactic all the time when they do something blatantly historically inaccurate.
The reason you even know of those small handful of female generals is because they were exceptionally rare historically.
What % of military leaders in human history have been female? <1%? probably less than .1%?
"Hey look, there was one random black guy in feudal Japan. Hey look, there were a small handful of female samurai!"
Is not a valid justification for making half of the characters in your Japanese samurai game black women, but that's what happens.
When people call out Battlefield V for their showcasing of women soldiers, they aren't saying no women whatsoever fought in WW2, but it's a matter of
degree.
When you take a statistically insignificant subset of a larger group and put them center stage and showcase them, you're clearly pushing an agenda.

So what you're saying that any WWII game that doesn't inolve D-Day or the Battle of the Bulge is a waste of time? Who cares about the Tuskegee Airmen?
It's not like they are saying this is the only aspect of this war that matters, but there's nothing wrong, with this ONE game, to take a look at it.
Rudy is certainly an anomaly, but that story made a really good movie.
You don't have to like it, but there's no reason to throw tantrums about agenda. The Total War fiasco was shown to be bunk, and as far as I know, BFV is the only war game to have a woman on the cover. Maybe learn to deal with this every now and again.
