SNES Classic came in today

Was able to find one on GameStop's website (non-bundled to boot).
Super Mario World and DK Country are just as fun as they were when I was 8. And finally getting a chance to play Link to the Past for the first time which has been a blast.
I'd say this was definitely worth the $80

You guys still don't have your SNES?

I do now. Hence the creation of this thread

I would have bought one asap if DKC 2 and 3 were on it. I found their game selection for this one kind of strange in a couple areas.
I'll still get one though. I probably need to get on that.

In the Giygus fight in Earthbound as I’m typing this.
I think the underrated gem on the Classic SNES is Kirby’s Dream Course. A buddy and I played it last weekend and had a fricking blast. It’s like Battle golf.

Are these easy to mod and add all of the old SNES games? I just got one

If you have a PC it's pretty easy. If you have a Mac it's a bit of a hassle but you should still be able to do it.

I have the nes classic with my favorite games on that system and did the same with the snes classic. I have the sega genesis flashback hd. I've seen videos of people hacking their sega genesis on YouTube but I don't know how to do it I'm so computer challenge. Hopefully I can find somebody who knows how to do it because I know I can add sega games to nes or snes classics but I rather keep it on the sega system. With Nintendo releasing the nes and snes classics I know the next one will be the n64 classic in a few years.

How did you mod them?
I have both the NES and SNES classic. I’m scared to brick them.

A program called Hakchi2. It's pretty simple to use. You can even dump the original kernal of the device to bring it back to factory settings.

yeah downloaded hackchi, went through a youtube video, and boom. Gotta find your own roms but that's not hard

I think he was asking whether or not you still had your SNES from the 90s.

Love mine but I haven't had much time to play yet. I did try Yoshi's Island (never played it originally). It's really fun!
I've enjoyed Donkey Kong Country the most so far... never got to play it much originally as I didn't own it. It really aged perfectly.
Mega Man X also still looks/sounds/feels great.
Fzero was kinda hard to look at but it's first gen so maybe that's to be expected.
StarFox is terrible but I didn't like it even when it first came out really.
