Watching the same group and it looks like a blast with the right group.
I do wonder how much content will be in the main game because it seems like it will get old in a month or two.

the problem i noticed, is that you have to have a group to play.
You try to play multi as a single and people will rape ur arse out there.
I think they priced it a little high. I was about to buy, but backed off, i don't know anyone who is buying it, and not getting crushed by 4 man ships, while i'm trying to fix sails, drive boat, and reload cannons by meself. doesn't sound like fun

Water looks great though. With a crew fun times could be had for sure.

I agree it's all about the crew. I don't see any longevity with this game either. It'll be a blast for a few weeks and then be done with it

Would depend on how deep the content goes. Not worth $60 based on this beta, but they could do a lot with the game.

PVE combat looks so basic and boring.
Puzzles looked simple.
Sailing is very much group oriented but could be fun.
Naval combat looked kind of lame to me also but I can see how some would like it.
I watched about 3 hours. Just a beta so maybe some of these things will be expanded on.

Looks like it could be fun, but again, same complaints as above
Edit: The PvP aspect is the only thing that'll push me to buy this game

Especially when you have a ship full of treasure chests, and a ship of 4 is heading for ya, looking to sink ur ship and steal the chests.
And with a Kraken coming in full game, it could be really fun.
Visually, the water is a beauty.

This is my issue. I predict this game flops.
It has the best potential. But it's apparently damn near impossible to play single player
Could be awful with randoms
Also, I thought I read a review that said killing other plays and ships didn't get you loot?

Exactly. Last Origin game I bought was BF1 back in 2016. All my uplay games are through steam. Any serious PC gamer will not spend a dime in the Windows Store. It’s Steam or bust.

Yeah i was gonna get the game, but after I see theres no progression, I'm not going to get it. After you do all that work and get all the gold, you spend it on cosmetics and weapons, but nothing after that, no forward progression. It's not worth the $60, if they added that type of stuff, sure, but nope.
ETA: Once you get all the stuff you can buy cosmetics and stuff, you'll just be hoarding gold at that point. I'll pass.
