I did already. It's in my sons room. Cross-play with him was what I was hoping for.
Maybe I can get him the Series X or whatever they are offering for Christmas and Dad can slide in for the series s.

it really is crazy how they're using that as a justification.
Just disable cross play. People here act like cross play is required by law and has been here since the beginning of gaming. It's only a few years old.

it actually is pretty difficult on the X now for some reason..
Most games now you have to turn off crossplay at the machine level , its not included in games anymore

I have a 3080/5600x PC and a PS5 just for this reason. Was gonna get Xbox, but that's a total waste of money. And they're killing off physical media on Xbox too. I grew up with Xbox. But I switched to PC and team blue lol

I am with you. If I do buy any next gen it will be a PS5 for these reasons.
I got the white xbox that launched with sunset overdrive and not the gay required Kinect that originally launched with the hardware.
That is still kicking in my den and being used as a media streaming box at this point. The PS5 would likely replace the OG Xbone.
The Series S is in postmanJR room and my gaming setup is upstairs.
Did I mention the kids have their WiiU and Switch also setup downstairs and how I really didn't wanna buy another console

Xbox can play vs PS in competitive mode. It can't in "non-competitive" dynasty mode.
FPS games are completely diff from football games. While this isnt on PC, what cheat could they run?

I've got a 4090 and still have a PS5 and Series X. No excuse OP. No excuse.

Always funny hearing console players rail on about ''cheaters''. From guys who've never played a second on a PC. They also seem to ignore cronuszens, modded controllers, strike packs, etc etc on consoles. People have been cheating on consoles for years. I remember the modded PS3 and 360 controllers. With rapid fire mods. Lag switches on COD. People DDOSing you in comp games (still happens in rainbow 6 from what I hear).

Game Pass Ultimate. Latency is pretty good with a good connection. Good enough I can hit a baseball and stop the timing meters etc.
