Question for those that have played BFV and CODMW

So for those that have played both, which game would you recommend getting.
I’ve seen some videos of the new Pacific maps on BFV and it looks really impressive. I had a blast playing BF1 but wanted to wait to get BFV until some improvements were made on the base launch game.
I loved all of the modern warfare COD games and was looking forward to this one, especially with the ground war mode. But, I’ve heard that there are a lot of issues with the game right now that are making me hesitant to buy.
My question is, which one would you suggest to get with the intention to play until the new BF comes out in 2021 (hopefully)?

Here are the main issues with MW:
1 - 725 shotgun can be a 1 shot kill from 30+ yards
2 - M4A1 melts (not nearly as big of a deal as most claim)
3 - No red dots on minimap unless it’s for UAV (enemy shots aren’t displayed like previous CoDs)
4 - The current maps have about 10 different ways to get shot and killed.
5 - Claymores don’t “tick...boom” like they used to. They “tickboom”. No way to counter except flash them.
6 - Skill Based Match Making. You get paired with people that have similar stats to you. This causes the game to be super sweaty(difficult)
All of this can be fixed and most likely will be. There’s a rumored patch coming at the end of the month that will include some of the above issues.

If you're on PC then BFV, can get a code for $20 and you'll enjoy it a lot more than Ground War which is a very poor stripped down copy of BF.
So if that is your main mode/itch, BFV.
CoD will be on Holiday sale for $30 here in a few weeks so you can pick up both for ~$60 and call it a day.

It'll most likely be in the 35-40 range for Black Friday.

BFV sucks.. CoD MW is tolerable. Kind of wish BF1 would have a resurgence.

As much as people complain about MW it’s a good game. Some balancing needs to be done and some maps are dog shite but it’s still fun. Even more so with friends.
BFV to me was good and looked pretty but it felt empty (this was last winter). I also didn’t like that some weapons are behind a pay wall.

2v2 is an awesome game mode. i turn into a raging jackass in that mode.

Yes. I am already lv 130. So I am grinding. Best COD multiplayer in years. But it still has huge flaws that are okay to want to be fixed.

I never played BFV, but as far as MW goes, the core is there for a really good game. I've only done a little of the Campaign and it has been good so far.
The multiplayer needs a frick load of tweaks, and new maps can't get here fast enough as the ones they have are largely awful. The core gameplay is solid though.

So I finally made my decision and went with Modern Warfare. I know there is the big thread on the gaming board but I don’t want to go through all of the pages on that thread. I’d like some multiplayer tips if anyone has some advice.

Time to kill in this game is very fast. Also most maps have lots of windows/doors that people will peek through. I would recommend mentally slowing your pace of play down. You can’t run and gun in this game in my opinion.

I’ve played a lot, just hit max level.
Only advice I can really give you is be patient. The maps are a lot more difficult to learn the “flow” and spawns than any other cod I can remember.
Killhouse 247 playlist is my bread and butter right now. It’s a small map with rotating game modes.
Also, with the low time to kill you’ll struggle if you sprint to the objective every life. The better players on this game will hold down a lane and let you come to them, so rushing with an smg is tough
The bad players will hide in a random room with a double barrel (725), close the doors around them, set a claymore to their back and lay down watching the other door
