FE is the Fundamentals of Engineering exam that is required for engineering students/grads. You can only take your PE four years after passing the FE.

Gotcha, had never heard of the FE before. Clearly not an engineer.

APICS first, then Six Sigma (For Design) I believe. If I plan it right, I can get both next year.

I could probably take the APICS exams and pass them without even cracking a book, just don't have the certification to validate my knowledge.

I've considered getting an MBA, but the certs are less time-consuming and offer the same benefits for less money.

Is a black belt worth anything in the civilian world?

What do you want to do when you get out? Six Sigma is mostly used in manufacturing.

I don't really care. I just know I had to go to a black belt course.

I have mixed emotions. When I graduated, it was pretty easy to find a job, but its not like you automatically get a bunch more money. But you are more desired from a company's view. It'll help as i switch jobs later on, and it may help me move up faster where i'm currently at, but no boom of income straight after graduation or anything. At least for me.

ETA - but I certainly dont regret it.
