if i got another handheld besides the switch it'd be a steam deck. this thing along with the sony earbuds is laughably bad

I thought you could already do this to smartphones, tablets, and PCs and also pair an official PS5 controller to the streaming device via bluetooth.

In all seriousness, FF7 remake suffered serious pacing issues with all of these stupid side quests. I know most of them are optional, but they knocked a game that should have been a perfect 10 down to an 8 because it had way too much filler, imo.

This was supposed to be a showcase for Sony's first party studios - and instead they ended up showing off mostly third party titles that can be played elsewhere. Hence why many are frustrated after this presentation.
Fairgame$ and Concord will be shut down after 6 months. Cheap looking GaaS titles that will fail to attract an audience and make enough money (you know, like most live service titles).
Marathon will do well, because it's Bungie. But again, that can be played anywhere.
If you don't care about Marvel games then this "showcase" didn't give you much of a reason to get excited about the future of the PS5.

Considering the large majority of those games are going to be on XBox, I'd say that showcase was a dud. Did they announce any exclusives we didn't already know about?

I've had only Playstations since 1, but ended up with a series S this go around. I keep assuming I'll buy a PS5 but after each state of play or showcase I feel there's really no need.

It's being knocked for a week showing all around the circles that cover games, don't kid yourself.
There were some good announcements, but Microsoft drug their sack across Sony's face by pointing out a lot of it will be coming to the Xbox as well.

You can and have been able to since PS4. They revealed this like it was some amazing thing, but it’s basically just a glorified controller.

I'm laughing to myself imagining some lunatic that's playing a PS3 game by streaming it to this Project Q handheld from the PS5 which is also streaming the game from PSNow.
