Reloaded looks exceptionally brilliant. If it delivers on its promises it should be the new standard from the remaster/remake type of games. Anyone else gonna be picking it up to pass time until Rebirth? It’s actually completely voice acted which p5 didn’t even do.

I'll be playing it for sure but I'm replaying Persona 5 Royal first and have to finish my run of that first

This one looks pretty faithful to the PS2 original (moreso FES than Vanilla which is good) so I'm pretty excited

I think I started one of these games but was a little put off by the art style. Are they really good?

If you’re asking my personal opinion I think the persona games specifically 3 4 and 5 are top tier games ever made (JRPGs are my fave) and are extremely good. This does come with some caveats a bit depending on what erks you in games.

So p3 reloaded is a very proper remaster of the original releases in 2006 for the ps2. If it delivers what they say it’s the new gold standard for a remaster telling the same story but bringing in quality of life introduced in 4/5. It’s kind of hard to explain what a persona game is to some who hasn’t experienced it they’re so massive and all encompassing. This remaster looks absolutely top tier though and it’ll be the first mainline persona game ever to have ever single line voice acted. Persona 5 which was a major succcess had maybe 50% voice acted tops.

I’d look into the general flow of persona games and if it sounds like you might like it’s a must buy. Persona 3 is an amazing game.

I'll be playing this one right after I finish Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The amount of incredible JRPGs coming out between last Friday and the end of March is mind boggling.

Haven’t played any of these either but interested. 3, 4, and 5 are all equally good?

Imo 3 and 5 are top tier and 4 is just pretty good. Many people won’t go back and play 3 though because it was a ps2 game which is why this remaster is so cool to me. It adds all the quality of life stuff introduced with persona 5, adds full voice acting, opens up night time activities for social links, uses the all out attack and one more system from 5, and has really really good visuals. It’s a really great game. The persona games always deal with more heavy themes and topics than you’ll generally find in JRPGs. You should give it a go. They’ll all be overwhelming at first but just stick with it.

Been playing a few hours. It really delivers on its premise. It’s still persona 3 but manages to at the same time be a a near complete overhaul of the game with all quality of life features later titles brought, as well as certain things mixed up like the order of things that happen to keep veterans on their toes. Visuals are amazing. They didn’t have the option for the original ost at launch and instead are forced to play with an arranged new one. I’m sure it’ll be dlc in a month.

Anyone else sunk their teeth into this? I’ve done a good bit of the content. My god is this a massive upgrade over the ps2 version. I have seen some complainers mostly on Reddit, who have never played anything persona related but persona 5, and didn’t enjoy it because it wasn’t like that. Even though they took parts of p5 that weren’t in the original persona 3 and put them in reload. I mean this is so ridiculous to me did they expect them to retrofit a ps4 game to a full ground up remaster of a ps2 game in every respect? It’s still persona 3 just a much much better version

Rofl hey Vinegar! Is this like the one time we come together like the meme with the two jacked bros clasping fist? I missed you.

On the bright side for him at least he will finally get ff7 remake sometime this year 4+ years after we all played it and when we’ve all exhausted what rebirth has to offer. He can likely look forward to getting his hands on rebirth in 2035
