yeah, it seems legit. All the benches he's ran put it right where a 3770k would be if it had a smaller cache. He even live streamed himself running prime 95 with 8 threads, and posted a video of the bios and booting into windows. It's pretty crazy. He said the HT option in the bios just randomly showed up after testing his friend's ram. He cleared the CMOS before he started and that's when it started happening. He says he has cleared the CMOS and switched back to his ram since, and the HT option is still there. It could actually be the bios causing the unlock and not the chip itself. Some are speculating that the HT portion may have not been laser correctly and now the bios is reading the microcode as a 3770k.

Brucey is looking to do simple drive by inspections. Inspectors don't do the preservation work/evictions. I have someone covering BR and NOLA right now for inspections.
