Question guys, if I put an SSD in my PC so I can boot windows 7, can I keep my HDD in the computer that I have now and play my games from it while in windows 7? My HDD has 8.1.

Hey guys, I still have all this shite for sale....dropped some prices; I need to add to the firearms fund.
8GB (2x4) G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 (red heatsinks) - $45
16GB (4x4) Corsair Vengeance 1600 (low profile blue heatsinks)- $100
PowerColor 6870 reference card - $45
PowerColor 7870XT PCS+ EZ Edition (this is the same as the Myst card (1536 processors) but with a custom cooler (non reference)) - $80
ASUS DirectCUII TOP R9-280X - $175
Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler - $30
AMD 1055T CPU - $40
The Noctua cooler is the only part listed that was really used for a decent amount of time. The GPUs, RAM, CPU were hardly used at all. I have the original packaging for everything except the 6870 and the CPU.
I'll meet in LC for local pickup. Shipping is on the buyer. If your interested just leave your Steam name.
P.S.: Yes, I am aware I am regarded as a shameful idiot.

Yea that's why I'm getting rid of it. I got it from the Egg during a Christmas sale when they were almost giving it away a couple years ago. Glad I got my Tridents when I did.

Anyone here OCs their routers and repeaters also?
Forgot to crank up the power on my repeaters during installation, I can't do anything without OCing.

Alright guys, been a while since I've posted on here, but I'm in the market for a new monitor and I was looking for suggestions. Trying not to spend more than $200 if possible and I figured asking y'all might be easier than rummaging around Google for hours

No, you will need to reinstall those games so that they tie in with your Windows 7 registry. You can still store the game files on your HDD, but you can't launch the original installs from a new Windows installation. I'd backup your files from the HDD (movies, pics, documents) to something else, then format the HDD to get rid of the Win 8.1 installation and programs, and then move your backup files back to it, redownload and reinstall programs and games.

What else can you tell me about it? I trust y'all but honestly I just don't know much about monitors, sadly. I know a lot of people talk up IPS monitors and y'all seem to love those 27"ers.

It will be beautiful and you will wonder why you didn't own one before.
Its hard describing a 30% increase in resolution with true deep vivid and accurate colors.

That sounds pretty awesome to me. I'd probably be able to buy it next week, since I should be getting paid then. That is, if you're not in any hurry to sell it

Not at all, selling stuff I don't use or changing parts ATM.
I have 4x1440 Koreans but only use my 2 CrossOvers on the main rig. Want to sell the other 2 1440s for 2160(4K) or that damn 1440/120/G-Sync monitor.
