I haven't read a word of the gigabit thread apparently. I just did a search on the forum for "gigabit" and am assuming it's the Lafayette Internet thread? Too long to read now, and I'd probably just get frustrated.

Time for an actual post...let's talk upgrading.
I'm wanting to upgrade my MB, CPU, and GPU. Key considerations - value, relevancy, and overclocking capabilities. I do not plan on upgrading my monitor in the near future, much to bruce's dismay.
Here's what I'm looking at:
CPU - AMD FX-8320
MB - MSI 990FX
GPU - ASUS R9 280X
I want the build to last 3-5 years if possible. I plan on adding an H100i at some point as AMD CPUs aren't happy running above 60.
So...shoot holes in it. Offer better values. And savor the fact that this is not a sarcastic, troll attempt.
