as long as it's a 7970 (or 7950) you can put any 2 together

Nah, no PLX chip in my Mpower, and the OC performance will be hindered on my other two cards. It'll be a very slight boost, if it scales properly.

Any idea what the ASIC score is? Or the stock voltage? Some of those twin frozrs, like mine, have high stock volts. Mine was 1.256v stock, ASIC score of 60%-ish. Upped the voltage to 1.3, and it barely does 1215-1220.

One I used to have had like 95%... But my current is in the upper 60s

Seems like any score above 70 overclocks fantastically -- my vanilla reference 7970 hits 1300 easily.
I've never been able to find a consensus on what a safe max voltage is for these cards. Would love to mod one beyond the 1.3 lock.

I remember those days, then I got a connection that is faster than the speedtest servers.
