What brand is your TV

All our TVs are Sumsung, IDK what model though. Let me check..

EDT: I really don't know much about TVs. We never turn them on. The only time they really do come on is during the weekend.

We catch up on all our shows via Hulu/Amazon on Sundays then I watch football Saturday/Sundays, that is about it. We both hate TV.. i'm a computer gamer and she is an ebook reader.

I think my PSU is about to die, I can't put load on my system. Everything is factory settings with a fresh W7 installation and still crashing.

For a Samsung, look for "Auto Motion Plus" in settings and turn it the frick off.

I don't like TV either (other than a few shows, many of which have ended or have become too shitty to tolerate), but it's my wife's favorite pastime -- She likes discovering old movies/TV series on Netflix, but also has various cable shows she likes, and likes to fall asleep with the TV on.

If I lived alone, I wouldn't even have cable.

You're a man that appreciates quality so do yourself a favor, get a Panasonic plasma. The only issue you have to worry about is light if there's a window or something. Treat it like you would a glossy panel and you will be fine. I'm awaiting your excitement.

Not BSOD which usually means an unstable system... the turn off type crash which means PSU didn't have enough arse to power this monster.

I have always had coil whine with this 1200i but now it is really bad. A small child is now in the room screaming at me.

I had a Samsung plasma we gave away to my future in laws. Purchased 2 new TVs for the new house, I much rather the color fidelity of plasmas and our next purchase will be a plasma or OLED.

Believe me, I regret it now.

We should all send each other Christmas cards with our Username, Avatar and rig picture.

Really make the wives/GFs say WTF?

The funny part is, we never lock the wives in they lock US in. We pay the child support forever. They have us by the balls always man.

Always a WIn/Win for the womenz.

Oh BTW... when this "God Light" stuff is heaviest, my frames drop to around 45-50. My 3rd block will be here tomorrow hopefully so I'll have it up and running to keep stready frames.

Can any of you guys even run the "God Light" setting?

I just got a lepa g1200 for $149.99

Pretty damn good price for a 1200w gold rated PSU. It's semi modular, but I'm not worried about that

1) your not married yet so you don't even know
2) I turned mine down to low. I could run high but the drops were low enough to bother me. Read the article I posted and it broke down the performance difference pretty well.

Other than AA (I'm just using SMAA), God Rays is the only thing I don't have maxed out. It was one of the first things I turned off when testing settings, because in the few areas I tested it, I did not see any difference in quality, yet I was getting annoying little frame drops. I'm at an almost consistent 60fps, but when I turn on God Rays, the near-constant 60 turns into a near-constant 55 or so.

Also check to see that your PSU fan is spinning. I had to RMA my Seasonic for that reason -- the symptoms of a not-powerful-enough PSU are identical to the symptoms of an overheating PSU with good thermal protection.

Anyone running G skill ripjaws z series 16gb ddr3 2133 memory? Have read both good/bad reviews. I know ram is ram, but I ordered this memory and was wondering if anyone else using g skill ram could comment good or bad.

I am using G. Skill Ripjaws X 16gb (2 x 8GB) 2133. It's just fine. I'm sure Ripjaws Z is the same. Same modules, different binning.

Point me to the reviews. I love reading negative RAM reviews. I wonder how many of them are complaints that it's running at 1333.
