Downloaded the games during the saints game tonight and was surprised at how fast it installed. Love the new game menu they did to. Changing things from their usual, that's as far as I got.

I don't think because its the same layout just with 2 cores disabled. Remember ppl being upset it wasn't a true 4 core layout on the large die. If that was the case, then yes in theory it should be a better overclocker because it would displace heat better due to a larger surface area.

The step up from the previous gen to this gen is pretty impressive. Also, why don't you go ahead and build a $500 gaming rig that can do everything the Xbox One can then talk to me. The Xbox One is an impressive machine and so is the PS4 when you look at the pricing, what they can do and the games that are going to be made for them. Also we don't have to upgrade them constantly. Have you kept a computer for 7 years without upgrading it?
I game on PC as well, but prefer consoles. Spending $5000 on a computer that you will never use to it's full potential doesn't make you better than anyone bro. Props for trying though.

There was someone on here with a machine built around $500 that was near the top of the last epeen contest.
In 2-4 years we have the option NOT to put up with outdated hardware for another 3-5 year. I have a couple computers that are in the 7 year range that I still use.

Built mine for about $850 almost years ago and still run everything but 1 game on Ultra even new games, not one upgrade.

Funny thing is, without mods the games don't look much better on PC than on either of the consoles. So you spent the extra for more computing and graphics power to have most games look pretty close to the same. Congrats. Meanwhile I have better games to choose from (an opinion), cool voice and motion controlled features (a gimmick, but I like it) and more money in the bank. Yep. Console kids are stupid. Anyone who disagrees with the PC overlords are idiots.

I think your "PC" gaming is probably on some shitty laptop or a factory built HP or something. No way you play on actual rig built for gaming or you would realize how asinine your post is.

Yey, got my audio issues figured out. Bad splitter on my headset. Anyone know where I can get a front panel port for a single mic/headset plug in, the single port for both. Would like to just get the input port if possible, 5.25 panel would be fine. I can only find the split versions with both a mic and headset port. Went ahead and bought another splitter to try and a cheap standalone mic to hold me over. 780Ti installed last night.
ARMA 3 in 1440p at 60fps, so loving this new rig. Tried to get my free Black Flag, but ubisoft's store wouldn't take my code....

There is no way that guy has ever played Skyrim or BF on ultra and is saying that shite. Or no way he has played a game like Arma 3 or Crysis 3 at max settings.

I have a PS4 and this...
From PS3 to PS4 really doesn't like much better better besides much better physics and ambient occasions which x86 brought.
You turned something all the way up @ 1440 and you feel like you are there. One of my favorite games is oddly Far Cry 3 because the game let you escape to this place. Everything felt so fckking real when everything was turned up to 11.

Yes these 4930K are hard to get over 4.6 and a 3930K easily hits 4.6, then the rare occasion of 5GHz. Consider this though, a 4930K @ 4.6GHz will match or bet a 3930K @ 5GHz depending on the application because it runs more cycles at the single thread level. Not only this but it uses less voltage making it run cooler and has a monster IMC which will yield higher OC's on memory. I haven't owned a 3930K but do now have a 4930K and love it. Just hearing from the guys who ran both and OC'd both, the 4930K gets that bad Haswell rap just because it was a major jump.

Judging by the pic of your carpet, I doubt you can afford PC gaming anyway. Is that what was in the trailer when it was built in 1985?

Love how you "Master Race" jump to the conclusion that people who disagree that PC is the best gaming platform are poor. Yes I live in a trailer. It's temporary until I built a house on my land. I actually make enough money that I spent the $3000 for the flashy lights and Alienware name just because I liked it. So yes I can afford a PC. I choose to game on Xbox because I prefer it.
