Person I feel bad for the most is my wife. She has to deal with me

Have my core clock at 1150. It's 1050 stock. Going for 1225 next. Wonder how far I can push the memory clock. It's 1500 stock on this card
LINK
Now, I need to get my 8350 at a good stable clock and I can break 11K I think.
ETA: 1225 was too much of a jump
Going back down to 1200 as that seems to be the norm for this card on the net

That's exactly how my ram shows up. We need to some investigating to see if the systemmark software misreads AMD ram
I missed this post while browsing on my phone, but now I'm home.
It does "misread it," and that's all it does. It does not downclock your RAM. The speed you set in the bios is the speed it's running at. The reason it does that is because 1333 (aka 667) is the standard speed for DDR3. The modules are sold based on what they've been proven by the manufacturer to run at on a test bed. That's why RAM specs nearly always need to be set manually in the bios. The motherboard is seeing a RAM module's Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) specifications by default. There does exist JEDEC specs for higher clocked modules, but it's far cheaper to fabricate 1333 MHz modules and bin them at various speeds, voltages, and timings, so that's what you're getting with most memory you buy. Kind of like if Intel were to sell Haswell i5-4670k's at different price points. Like "4570k, 1.2v, 4.6GHz" for $259, and a "1.25v, 4.4GHz" for $229" and so on, and include cooling solutions that keep each of those chips at acceptable temperatures.
So basically, SystemMark or whatever it is just sees the modules for what they are by fabrication standards. It has no bearing on the score. It's just buggy software. I've noticed that it sometimes doesn't recognize when a CPU is overclocked either, or it reports video card clocks at their low power state instead of their actual working frequencies.
EDIT: Futuremark software doesn't understand that I have my modules at 2133Mhz either: LINK

You just have to get to the point where you don't have anticipatory anxiety. I still deal with that sometimes, because if you go into a situation thinking you will get anxious, you definitely will. Gotta find a place where you fill your head with others thoughts.

Probably the worst solution.
I subscribe to that school of though as well

yep, I'm a man. Thus I drink.

Looks like I need to take off my CPU cooler tomorrow and reapply thermal paste

sorry to hear the 660 isn't performing up to your standards. I never really pushed it to the limits.
I'll e-mail you about the ssd if you're still interested.

So it was a heat issue?

as stout said I believe the last price I put on it was 240 (without shipping and paypal fees)
I'll even give you my old 6 core AMD 2.8 ghz, that i'm sure is broken but you can have it just to frick around with.

I hit 52 within like 40 seconds of running Prime 95 at 4.4 and 1.375 volts
Poncho, that 660 is perfect for what I will use it for. I appreciate it truly. Also, let me think on that SSD. I think I need a 2TB HDD more than anything right now.

You should be able.
Bruce and I are hitting mid 10k w/ 7950s. You got this man!

Is 52 considered hot for AMD?

Apparently so. I just started looking up some info about it. I'm embarrassed that I never knew that, but the thermal thresholds for those chips are low as frick.
It throttles approaching 70. But it scales down appropriately. (i.e., a hyper 212 evo is going to keep it in the 40s at load).

You and Bruce also have twice the cooling area on your 8350s than what I have. At least I know Bruce does. I would be happy with good temps at 4.6 on mine.

I have an 8320.. sorry couldn't step up to the big leagues.
ETA:
It is on a H100i.. plus on top my desk seating in an open test bench.

62c is the absolute ceiling for the fx chips. Same goes for your 955. Yeah it is strange that it's so low with such high voltages we use.
