if we had a yard
Yea two would be a lot in a townhouse with no yard. I have about half an acre fenced in for mine. They stay out all day and I let them in at night to eat and sleep then back out at 6AM every morning. They are spoiled rotten. I recently built them an outside AC I dump 2 gallons of ice into every morning.

That isn't mine but that's where I got the idea. It works too. I did mine better with a real ice chest and coiled the copper in circles nice and tight like a condenser should be.

Yea at the very least take them a no kill shelter. It's not hard to do and doesn't take long.

That's spoiled, not that i can talk. My dog has a house that she lets me live in.

That is what we say about our older cat. This little btch looks at you like YOURE in HER space and she is letting off easy.
Has anyone ever declawed their cats? We have both our cats decalwed last week.. all I have to say is, never again. I feel like a total arse for getting the toes cut off our cats.

I would take another if we had a yard but in a 2 bedroom townhouse, 1 is fine. I'm a dog lover though.
we just bought a house 3 months ago with a really nice yard.......... except our back porch doesn't go into the backyard, oh well, we are going to get it fixed, but for now, 1 dog is enough for us.
My wife and I are both HUGE dog lovers though

when I first met my wife my aunt had done this to her cat and I mentioned how I would do this to a cat if I got it... she showed me what they had to do to "declaw" a cat... I instantly decided then and there that declawing was inhumane... I would never ever do that to an animal.

Except they're cats. My wife has had her cats for years, and I don't know exactly what they went through when that happened, they seem to be perfectly fine now. They still have their back claws for climbing, but considering how much I see them running their paws on our furniture and knowing how gnarled all of it would be, I'm certain it was the right call.

I just won't get a cat. Never been a big fan and neither is my wife.

that's how I feel, I would have to get my cats declawed if I ever got one.. I can't be in the same room with one for longer than a day or two.. I couldn't imagine having to live with one.

We removed all 4 because our vet recommended it. I wish we would have been more educated on the matter.

nVidia MAXWELL Q1 2014
You guys have probably already talked about Maxwell rumors for Q1 2014.. none the less, this is the chip we have all been waiting for. It has been almost since we heard about Maxwell, it is due to let us down just because nVidia said this is the next gamechanger so many times. None the less, cant wait and this confirms I should postpone the 3rd Titan(i think) for now.

What a big middle finger to those who bought 700 series, aka overclocked Kepler.

I'm kinda confused about why nVidia has decided it's such a good idea to keep updating their cards like this.. I'm really glad I didn't get a 700 series card now (was originally looking at the 770 or 780..)

Build will begin in a few weeks. Master Race will be a reality for this dirty peasant.

Same here. I was going to sell my 660ti and get a 780. Ended up getting another 660ti for under $200

so i was wondering what your thought is about custom cooling in a micro case. Seeing this mean little thing on Tomshardware (Cooler Master) this morning made me want to do this for a small budget build. I would buy pieces here an there. Anyways, how hard is it to run custom cooling in these micro cases?
That's a strange build. It appears to be configured for benchmarking. I've been reading about using an Nvidia card exclusively for Physx since Coyote mentioned it. It can apparently be done even alongside an AMD card. The Tom's build I wouldn't recommend for practical gaming use. There could be another reason behind the two cards, such as clearance issues for a single full-size PCB, requiring them to divide the workload between two weaker cards.
As for custom cooling, are you talking about custom water cooling? Skimming the comments on that Tom's build, I saw someone mention they put their H100i in there but just couldn't run it push pull. I've never put a custom loop in a case that small, but I'm sure it's possible with careful planning. The main problem is that you probably can't fit more than a 240mm radiator, which I wouldn't recommend for cooling both a GPU and a CPU. This case looks better suited for all-in-one liquid coolers. You could reduce heat and noise by liquid cooling the GPU and using some type of quiet aftermarket air cooling for the CPU. That case seems to accommodate large air coolers. But whether it can fit a radiator and an air cooler at the same time, not sure.
