Pretty much the same way. Usually it it doesn't hang on the 2nd test in 3dmark11 then it's good with my gpu.

Yeah 2nd test for gpu and physics for CPU. If you buy 3dmark11 u can quickly just run physics tests for checking CPU OC stability.

Is there any real difference between 3dmark, 3dmark11, and 3dmark vantage?

Just sold that Z77 OC formula for $210.
I traded a z77 Extreme4 for an FX6100. I only have a Fatal1ty Professional and one more Extreme4 to get rid of.

I would do it for $90 shipped.
I actually have two of them left. I thought I was down to one but I forgot I had someone cancel an order.

All this talk of benchmarks made go google epeen because I had an idea for a photoshop job and this was one of the images I found.
Not sure why that made me lol. Probably because my sense of humor is as complicated as a 12 year olds.

You posted this on the OT a while back. I laughed so hard. I then sent it to a bunch of people and it has become a running joke

On a serious note, Is there any chance I could remove some random frame dips by putting arkham city on my ssd? It usually happens when I am outside in that game and or entering a new area. I find frame rates dip sometimes in those open world sandbox games.

Anyone want 90% off Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter? I'll trade you the coupon on steam for free because I'm not using it.

Time to crossfire...but seriously the only game that I know if that really takes advantage of a fast HDD is DayZ. I was getting around 35-40 fps in DayZ and dips down in the 20s when I was in cities and towns. I created a RAMdisk and put just the DayZ folder on it(around 250mb) and now I'm getting 80-90 and 70+ in cities. I couldn't belief the improvement. I wouldn't recommend doing that with a full game unless you have a ton of ram.

I think I'll wedge my epeen right up in here.
I did a comparison benchmark today, between my system at stock (GPU/CPU), my normal everyday gaming overclock, and my benchmarking epeen overclock.
Graphics driver isn't approved because I'm using the new beta.
Reminder of system specs:
i7-4770k on an MSI z87 MPower
2 x 8GB Gskill 2133 CL9
2 x MSI 7970 GHz edition reference PCBs
First, everything is at stock:
CPU: 3.5GHz
GPU (Core/Memory): 1050/1375
14914
Then, upped the clocks to epeen benchmark level, where everything is rock-solid stable, but things are at a level where I'd rather not stay for 24/7 use.
CPU: 4.9GHz at 1.43v
GPU: 1300/1900 and 1220/1900 (lower GPU doesn't clock as high in crossfire)
18215
Then went back to my everyday settings:
CPU: 4.7GHz at 1.28v
GPU: 1200/1650 on both
17276
