I have this 512GB 840 Samsung for games, idk what I would do with 1TB. I know there is a shite load of tech going into this consumer grade SSD. The EVO has a server grade controller and other server grade shite. So it is a mixed bag of goodness. The performance is rumored between an 840 and 840 Pro. IDK.
Would love to have, just really.. really no need right now.

Everytime i upgrade my SSD, I always reach a point where I feel like I need more space. Started at a 64GB boot drive, and quickly wanted a 120, which lasted me a little while before getting this 256. But I'm in that window of 30GB remaining on my hard drive, with a few games that I'd like to have on my SSD but are currently uninstalled or on my HDD. But I can't imagine a Terabyte unless I just wanted every game I've ever considered playing to be always installed, or have unnoticeably faster access to my pictures and videos.

I totally understand. I thought 256GB for games would hold everything... but wrong!
My main rig storage is as follow:
1. OS Drive - 240GB Vertex 4
2. Storage - 256 Samsung 830
3. Games - 512 Samsung 840
Then I don't even save movies to my main gaming rig, that goes on the home server and my WD REDs in RAID 10. Now that we are moving towards being much much more digital, you are right.. storage is becoming a bitch!

New PSU is coming Tuesday. 
Today I installed some shitty cheap case fan from Radioshack and this thing is unbearably loud. What fans do you guys use? This was also my first time messing around with my computer insides and I didn't frick anything up, so hooray.

Just maybe walk him through the chart for a custom fan curve. Custom fan curves arent too bad and that cooler on the the Titan/780/690 is better than most. A decent custom curve will keep it relatively quiet while keeping performance up.
It appears that I have some work to do.
