My GTX 780 is running at stock specs and I have my i7 4770k running at 4.2.

I've officially modded skyrim (with maxed out settings) so much that it's using about 2.5GB of vram. And I'm getting about 30fps outdoors. That's with a single overclocked 7970, though. Because Skyrim will never, ever work properly with crossfire. I mean, perhaps there's a 12.xx drive floating around out there that is the magical driver for skyrim crossfire, but hell no to that.

It's pretty amazing what you can do with mods. I haven't gotten into any mod-heavy games really so I can't wait to really mess around with them.

Just throw +100 on the core and you should bump near 13k.

My 2500k is overclocked to 4.0. But why would that affect it?

I ran the test both with and without the CPU overclocked and both times it failed. It got a lot further into the test when I had it OC'd though

How low do you guys take the offset? I saw one guide said don't go into negative offset.

You probably have a bad stick of RAM or not enough VCORE for even 4.0.

As for overkill builds.. No such thing, there is always that bad utilized game engine that will rip your system apart. Hence the reason for a possible 3rd Titan in my rig.

My Intel offset is always +0.004

I really haven't messed with it all that much.

Mine is at +.005, I don't have an option for +.004 but maybe I can enter it manually. Even at +.01 I didn't get past 4.3. If I want to push it further should I try +.015 or go back to fixed voltage and find it there?

When benching I use fixed. Just daily use then it is just an offset. I say this but my main rig stays fixed.

I can help u in a few, I'm on the road trying to type on this nexus 7... Im terrible with this keyboard.
