Nah, not a noob moment. I'm envious of those of you who put their first builds together with relatively minor or no issues. Things are much more plug n' play these days. My first build over a decade ago was a fricking bitch. My motherboard had 20 jumpers that needed to be arranged to set the FSB. There was no auto or universal default setting. Good ol' Pentiums.

you can test it with that and I can't tell if RAM is in or not. I would try that first to see if it will POST before adding graphics card and case fan hook ups and HDD/SSD hookups
