Longest. Day. Ever.
What time do your deliveries usually arrive? I had to wait until 8:30 PM for my monitor and case to finally get here so I could start my build. That last day of waiting drags on.

They're already delivered. My PO Box is at a UPS store here on base and I have to go get it.

Nice.
You make a steam ID yet? Also, there's a TD group on steam where you can find a lot of posters from here.

Okay so I looked around in my computer today...and I'm about to ask some most likely really stupid questions
.
Ok, so it looks like my PSU has lost a fan blade. I was planning on upgrading soon anyway but now I'm looking for a new one. Are there any requirements a new PSU needs or can I just pick one that looks good, buy it, and put it in?
Second one is kinda silly. My computer is dusty as hell. Can I just get some compressed air and go wild or are there some areas I need to not spray?
Third one, anyone have any experience with the Razer Lycosa? Some guy on Craiglist is selling one for 30 dollars and I'm tempted to buy it.

I'm so jealous of these people that can afford better builds than mine.
See you in a few hours. Hope nothing is messed up.

I'm saving up for a Eurotrip next summer and then going into med school after that so I may not be upgrading for a while unfortunately.

Lol my CPU cooler stand offs don't fit
Posted on 8/5/13 at 7:28 pm to LewDawg
Did you take off the back plate oringinally on the mobo? That was my problem for my build.
Posted on 8/5/13 at 7:30 pm to tehchampion140
By the time I finish this guide, everyone who was going to build will have already done so.
Maybe it'll inspire others to build, though.
I'm 5,000 words in. No turning back now.

Please stop playing now and pick up a real PC game. That game is terrible, damn near unplayable.
Pickup a good first title, BioShock, Dishonored or Batman.
