Same arch just a further refined process more power better efficiency. Zen 3+ is the same thing on CPU side.

What is a refresh?
Like Ultimate posted, it's generally just a little bump to a current line. When production first starts, there are little flaws that reduce yield, so performance/efficiency numbers need to stay down in order for yield to be viable. As production goes forward, those flaws get ironed out, and they are able to get small boosts in performance and efficiency without reducing yields, so they basically create new bins and sell them.
With that said, the Zen 3 refresh that AMD is being rumored to make is something different, as they might be adding 3d cache stacking to their cpus. If that comes to fruition, my theory is that it's a trial run to iron out any kinks before they fully launch 3d cache with Zen 4.
So, lots of words to say that a refresh is generally a small tweak to an existing product line. Whether the refreshes are worth the money over the original product varies with the details.

Windows 11 officially available as an upgrade on October 5th. I think I am going to hold off on upgrading right away.
I have a feeling this upgrade at least early is going to be full of bugs.

I've been running it for 2 months or so and not really many bugs at all. The core is still Windows 10.

What kinda specs does the new Diablo require? I'm about to build my new one and don't know what to do with my old one (about five years old). edit: Just looked and this meets or exceeds recommended specs on both those games you mentioned.
i5-4690k (OC'd to 4.2ghz I think) w/ 120mm AIO
Z97 anniversary mobo
GTX 1060 6GB
16 GB RAM
256SSD
1TB HD
Everything works fine, was probably gonna try and get $600 for it around here or something
What were the specs of the one you just bought?

Yup. Sticking with the old PC for now?

Oh no, I ordered the new one. Just checking to see what I can keep and carry over.
Going to switch out the Ram and hook up the m.2 from the old one.

The only things you'll want to carry over are probably the M.2 drive and RAM. I would still do a clean Windows install after swapping the M.2 over so you can get clean drivers installed
You can swap the ram from the new pc into the old so you still have a useable/sellable machine

Will windows come with it installed or will I have to do it?
Posted on 9/9/21 at 7:53 am to RATeamWannabe
It'll come installed but I don't know if those pre-built companies load it down with bloatware or not
