After a days gaming I like it. Since the mouse isn't as long as my G703 was it took some getting used to. The side buttons were are more awkwardly placed for my palm grip.

I'm pretty much used to it now though.

Edit: The weight difference between it and the G703 is mind blowing. I never thought I would really notice, but I absolutely love the airy feeling of it. The colors help make it look great too

I never thought I'd spend that much on a mouse but I feel like it's going to be worth.

The software for it is so simple and easy, unlike the stupid bullshite g hub

Flashed the beta version on mine a few days ago, it's running pretty nice with the 3900 and 5900x.

Are there any new amd motherboards on the horizon? I’ve been watching buildzoid videos and every motherboard kinda sucks.

I just bought a 4600h GTX 1650 laptop for $599 because it seemed like an ok price. Have I made a mistake with new laptop GPUs dropping soon or will prices not drop that much? I generally don’t play top of the line games so a 1650 would be fine, but would rather wait and return if I could get more for my money soon. My budget would still be around 600.

Probably not til the next generation of cpu's.

Asus Dark Hero is anything but sucky. Price tag sucks though, lol. I'm happy with my X570-E.

Question was a little facetious. I think I just need to sort out extreme overclocking complaints from regular folks overclocking issues on buildzoid's commentary

But it does seem like every mobo is missing something. Like why don't Strix B550-a & -f have front panel usb 3.2 gen 2 support?

Keep in mind he is very slated towards heavy overclocking featutres and needing at least 7 USB ports for some reason.

I've been using my X570 Gigabyte Aorus Elite for a year and a half now and it's been great. Really think that $200-ish price point has a lot of great AM4 mobo options for 99% of people.

Back when I put together that system in summer 2019, 3200 RAM was by far the sweet spot price to performance so it's just running at XMP 3200. I've never fiddled around with the timings or speed beyond that. It's just some cheap 2x8 3200-16 GB kit I got back then. It's a ryzen 3600 on there at stock speeds but I did mess around with that and got 4.2ghz all core on it under a 240mm aio with no voltage adjustments.

Can I get some thoughts on what could possibly be wrong with my PC. I've been able to play it for maybe 3 weeks at this point.

The issue I'm having is that the CPU temperature keeps rising to the point of it beginning to throttle.

At first, I thought it was lag. Got a brand new modem and router, plus upgraded my internet speed, thinking that my internet was the issue. That didn't solve the problem.

I then began to notice a pattern of the game playing smoothly for around the first 30-45 minutes, and then the throttling would start and get progressively worse the longe I played. I began constantly watching the temps and noticed the CPU temps were rising between 80-90, which is when the throttling started. The higher the temps, the worse it got.

I got a new CPU cooling fan and brought it to a buddy who builds PCs (I know next to nothing about them. This one was bought prebuilt). He noticed that the thermal paste job was shite, and thought that if he applied it correctly the issue would be fixed. He put the stock fan back on and sent it back. All this did though was extend the time until it started throttling a little bit.

When I've been playing I have been putting a box fan blowing directly on the CPU to keep the temps down. Last night the temps stayed between 65-75 (with the fan blowing), but it still eventually started throttling.

I plan on bringing it back to my buddy to add in the fan that I bought, but I'm starting to worry that this isn't even the problem, given what happened last night. If it's not simply the fan, any other idea what may be causing this?

Another note, that may or may not be relevant. The throttling only ever happens on warzone, never on Cold War MP. After the throttling last night, I switched over the cold war and had none of those issues. My FPS are a little lower than usual on CW, but that's about it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
