You get used to the curve, I have an Odyssey G7 and at first it was apprehensive about it but now I can’t go back.
I've had them at work, I don't want that shite.
Any flat recs?

How you liking the G7? Been thinking about grabbing one next sale to upgrade my CHG70 which is more or less the same but I'd like to try out 240Hz.

LG just announced a 42" OLED coming this year, if the 48" was a little too big to work as a monitor this 42" might be a bit better, especially with all the specs they have on their newer OLEDs. I wonder if this will also have the newer brighter panel which supposedly talking 900-1000 nits up from 700-800 nits on current ones.

Checking out ebay recently and getting a good laugh.
Was thinking of selling my 5700 XT once I could upgrade to a new card and the prices are hilarious.
A blower style XFX 5700 XT (one I have) just went for $620, and a lot of others recently going for $600-$700. Only cheaper ones are $300-$400 and they are "Broken/parts only" cards.
That's nuts, I got mine for $350 the day it came out in summer 2019 as it was $400 with a $50 microcenter bundle discount. To think I could get $600 for it right now is nuts, wish I had a backup card or something in meantime before I can score a new generation card.

6800 XT MSRP for $649, that Taichi model is Asrock's top model and it stickers for ridiculous $829...so $930 is still way over the top even for that model.
I mean, sh*t that's close to 6900 XT pricing. I just dont get why people are paying these ridiculous prices for this hardware. I get it's in short supply so it is what it is, but, I mean, just wait

I do think it's crazy how the graphics card market has shifted so much the last decade.
A high end card used to be $500-$600 not that long ago. Now it's double that. Dual GPU cards were way less than RTX 3090's even. You could get "mid-range" performance for $200-$230 even just a few years ago like with 8 GB RX 480/580's...Forget about any decent budget cards any more. The old mid-range is now the new "budget" pricing.

MSRP was 650 for 6800xts I thought..
$300 more? Good lord.
On a side note, new AMD and Nvidia stuff will be announced at CES, that people won't be able to buy reasonably today

What are y'alls recs on a decent chair? I'd say somewhere around the $200 range but I don't mind a if it closes in towards $300 if it's just that much better.
Rather stay away from the racing type chairs.

No 3080TI announcement either, wonder why they delayed again. Guess they don't really need it yet because supply still isn't keeping up with demand. Glad I went ahead and went with 3090 instead of waiting on 3080TI.
Their vram decisions are weird as frick.

AMD debuted the Zen 3 mobile chips, 8c/16t top model that boosts to 4.8GHz. Fastest ever for a mobile cpu. Actually insane.
