In a few months I would imagine he could get 2070 super performance for cheaper. I would guess that there are more than a couple of people who purchased supers with the intention of buying a 3000 series once they released

What FPS are you getting in warzone and what card do you have?
I’m only getting like 110 with everything low except AA all the way up. I have the 1080 and 8700k

I'd wait. Just a couple months and the new offerings from both are large leaps. 7nm+ is a good jump from 7nm both CPU and GPU wise.
The other issue is... The mining craze is supposed to come back this year too... Which could completely frick up graphics card prices.
CPUs thankfully are not impacted, but anything ITX related right now is already fairly expensive, including power supplies and motherboards, and its hard to find them in stock.

I only bought a few shares when it was $40ea, but I've been putting all my buddies on the bandwagon for their portfolios
I didn't want to miss out on another NVDA

Keep buying both too. AMD is looking at $100/s by end of '21.

I sound smart (at less in my head) when I thought about things like AMD, NVDA, MU, and TSMC. At less I feel like I can explain why certain things happen in/are happening in that sector.
Yesterday I was riding a high when I saw TSMC soaring pre-market along with AMD. I've been telling the buddies to jump on both before the end of the year.
I feel soo dumb in this stuff, but yeah, I'm looking at some put options for Nvidia, just in case any of the ARM rumors come true.

AMD earnings call outpaces projections. Stock soars another 10% largely thanks to EPYC server chips.

Shares surged more than 10% after hours, following a 2% decline in the regular session to close at $67.61, and were ahead of AMD’s intraday record of $71.63, set late last week. After leading the S&P 500 index SPX in annual percentage gains in both 2018 and 2019, AMD stock has increased more than 47% so far in 2020 as the S&P has slipped 0.4%.

AMD also confirms 5nm TSMC CPU and GPU's by end of 2021.
GPU's the main thing there we knew CPU's for sure. RDNA 3 on 5nm.
All good news for the future.

Not much has changed from the slides we got to see in March, but we were able to spot some interesting additions here and there that basically confirm that AMD is pushing to transition most CPU and GPU lineups to TSMC’s 5 nm manufacturing process by the end of 2021.
quote:
First up is the Data Center CPU roadmap slide that shows a 5 nm Zen 4 EPYC “Genoa” lineup launching in 2021. This proves that AMD is seriously considering a consolidation for the server-grade lineup that now appears to be more and more profitable as it is bringing important revenues and increased market share for team red.
All good news for the future.

I have a buddy that dropped 18k on 55C expiration of 8/14 for 50 contracts.... now worth 100k but he sold at 30k last week when I begged him to keep 10 for before earnings at the very least. Guy was sick all weekend
