do i need to get a 3080 to replace my 2080?

I only purchase the full chips, the "BIG" for every architecture. Have since they began this BIG / LITTLE thing with Kepler. I'm guessing 3080 will be Little Ampere, or a cut-down version with the 3090 being the Big Ampere. Just guessing, naming always changes and too old to pay attention to rumors.

But you should be fine, more than fine.

Edt: You sig is the best on TD, esp 3months ago.

so the 3090 is what I need then. I was assuming that 3080 was going to be the best consumer gpu and the 3090 was going to be $3k like a Titan.

Just pre-ordered the new Samsung G7 1440p 240Hz.

Now to wait for 4th Gen Ryzen and Navi 2.

I don't understand why you have to fanboy over a 2nd rate GPU.

It is okay.

Edt: What 4k 120+ HDR, glossy 32" monitor you recommend? Anything?

Best for the money for sure homie! I will never run Nvidia. Ever.

And nothing right now, all the new 4K's are late in the year so I'm staying at 1440 and bumping up to 240Hz with their new ones.

For 3yr old tech..

I hope AMD can bring us something soon to bring nVidia prices down. Seems like nothing has been able to check the green gods of San Jose since the 7970.

Navi and old tech makes no sense. Do some research on your investments!

I wouldn't mind doing 1440, but most games I still play benefit from resolution over refresh rate.

For 2080Ti performance, that is old tech.

Your fanboy showing again. It's okay.

Navi 2 gonna steal the game like ryzen. Can't wait.

Buy more stock! Don't be an idiot like before. Cost you a lot of money.

Dude, stop.

The only fanboy here is yourself. It is okay. Have fun with subpar equipment where it matters most.

Where you ordering from? Can't open link

Edt: I'm getting really tired with Amazon orders showing Prime 2day shipping and then orders taking 2weeks to fill.

I would have ordered something else.

Edt2: ordered a J5005itx board for my NAS, showed prime 2day. Gave me a delivery date of this friday.

Updated to a June 24th date.

Seems like this happens every order.

You know damn well you fanboy hard every time. It's always funny how you can never admit something so obvious over and over again. Just a message board bro.

Like I said sit down, do some research. Understand your investments and buy more stock. Don't get caught years late because you were dumb like with Ryzen. It's about to happen again.

The Samsung website.

It's pre-orders only. Amazon ships first by a few weeks but I get Samsung rewards so.

Dude, I have no clue why you say this, nothing is more of a lie. I hate Nvidia like I hate Intel when they would charge stupid prices for incremental updates.

I purchase everything, but keep doing your thing.
