You say this all the time. And it might be because you have no real historical reference like most here.
But AMD v nVidia have traded blows for years, ever since early ATi v nVidia in early 2000s. At one point just a few years back in 2012, pre Big Kepler, AMD was in the lead with the 7970.
So you say this, but your are just wrong. I didn't bankrupt AMD during Pilrdrivers/Bulldozer days and made them cut back on the GPU department AMD did it.
Edt: Personal story about Blue and the first time I meant him IRL.
Was during 2012 in the parking lot of the old Shaw Building. He was driving around with his gaming rig with dual AMD 7950s in CFx in the back of I believe a white Pathfinder.
Ppl like ILikeLSU, when I first meet in person in 2013 to give him some 360mm Roads for his new loop, was rocking dual 2x7970s.
Most here you call nVidia fanboys actually love AMD. AMD graphics department just failed us.

Right, and Nvidia doesn't make CPU's. Only Intel and AMD now make both so not even a way to directly compare them anyways.
I don't think most care about who has the top GPU when it is priced where it is at just like myself.
Comes down to value+performance for usage.
Could I go buy a 2080ti or 3080ti when it drops? Sure. Would I ever spend 1K on a GPU from AMD or Nvidia? No.

You do realized that? It's not some big win.
Edt: I have faith they will get it back on track, just don't blaze it out there as a win.
It's like someone running a marathon in 2hrd then someone running it in 3hrs saying look, we did it the same just because there was the same endpoint.
And nVidia will have cutdown dies at the flagship AMD card's price point.
Like every gen.. it's not an argument.

I don't know if it is or is not, you disregarding big navi is a little foolish tbh. Reminds a lot of people of first gen ryzen, massive leap forward albeit still not ahead of Intel (Nvidia) but sold well and was very competitive.
If the PS5/XBSX Navi's are 2080 performance, on a console chip, that is pretty damn impressive and means the rumors of the top AMD big navi card beating a 2080ti by up to 30% may in fact be true. That is a very big leap indeed.
And again as I said earlier, AMD is bringing ray tracing to gaming while Nvidia completely failed it by bringing it to market a full year+ early just to market their new cards and mark them up when it was nowhere near ready on their end or developers.
It may be consoles but it's still AMD powered, and every developer will now use ray tracing in almost every game as soon as they hit market and that is great for PC.

But we do no that cant over take the gap that is created in one gen, bring big Navi vs ampere.
What you need to get out your head is that we all have agenda to hate amd. We are fans of the hobby, and the hobby is better with variety.

BTW, you are one of the only persons who are always up this late. I'm usually going to the gym at this time. But it is fckking shut down as of yesterday afternoon.
Just went to the convinence store for coffee or a bang, that shtt is shut down too. About to see if the 24hr Walmart is open or Walgreens.

Yeah night owl through and through, usually take a nap in the afternoon if I get ~4 hours of sleep. About to get a home workout in myself and crash.

Hell I know I'm just echoing coyote here, but I just really want AMD to challenge Nvidia at that top end sector. Bring us back to the 7970 vs GTX 680 price and performance battles, those were the golden days of building and epeening
