Not a terrible price to change.

That is from shop or just the part cost?

Question for you guys, and I'm not sure whether to put it here or Help board or what:

When I'm playing games and have any video running on my other screen, the audio and video always desync from each other. The audio is always ahead of the video.

It happens with playing Netflix, Twitch, sometimes with YouTube.. any idea what could be causing this? Videos and movies are unwatchable while playing games.

9900k
2070 Super
16gb RAM

1440p main monitor
1080p second

I've tried a few things like making the window smaller, running the programs in Admin.. nothing has worked. Really annoying.

What are your outputs to monitors? Both HDMI?

When you restart does it fix the problem? (Restart browser or computer)

Do you have any other audio outputs? DAC, Speakers, BT Transmitter, Headphones, etc

I'm fairly certain 1440p monitor uses Display Port, second monitor is HDMI.

Restart doesn't fix the problem entirely. The videos will start off fine/fixed, but after a couple will mess up again.

Just headphones right now, plugged right into pc.

It's mainly when I stream videos - Twitch and Netflix. I said YouTube in my earlier post but I'm not sure if youtube really is an issue. Mainly streaming services.

Also, when my games go into a loading screen the videos really mess up, really choppy video and audio and go to buffering a lot.

It almost feels like the pc is using too many resources on the games I'm playing but I have solid specs, not sure why it wouldn't be able to run games and stream video off to the side.

Was about to ask about resource usage.

Also, updated all drivers?

I haven't actually looked at the resource usage while I was playing, just what it feels like.

I believe so, I upgraded to the 9900k a few months ago with a new mobo so I went through and updated them. I think I got them all.

I mean, I don't know what other troubleshooting I needed to do.

I've tried:
Restarting the pc right after the problems arise.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Twitch and Netflix.
I've tried shrinking the application size (to see if larger screen area of the stream is what was causing it)
Rebooting internet modem/router.

My drivers were updated when I installed my new mobo/processor so I hadn't checked that. I may have missed one though, I'll check when I get home.

I'll also check and see what the resources show when I get on tonight and play something. I just never think to check task manager while I'm playing.

Alright, I appreciate it. My apologies for not getting you more info to start with.

Yes I'm salty that AMD will never be able to push nVidia like they do Intel.

My gym just closed :crying:

Wtf will I do for 2 weeks.

You clearly are very insecure when AMD makes strides in that area. Your fanboy shows the most at these times, even though you can never own up to it.
