Not necessarily. If your PC is working fine, no reason to update the BIOS. Think “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it”.

So, has the price of gaming computers come down since the bitcoin mining craze has slowed?

Yes, but we are expected to hit another one around mid 2020-2021.

Whatever time they expect the next doubling.

I just got a blade stealth and so far I really like it. I'm contemplating using it as my daily driver laptop and then whenever I need to, hook it up to an external enclosure to use as my htpc.

Only problem is the Razer Core X Chroma is like $400. I spent less than that on my current HTPC with an 8500 and GTX 1070

Yeah that is a main reason I went Dell for my gaming laptop. Use a 3rd party solution

I'm looking at some 3rd party ones, but I love how the Core chroma has a built in hub with ethernet and extra USBs

What's some of the nicer Korean 1440 120+hz monitors out there now?

I checked around christmas last year and couldn't find much. Ended up going with the Dell G sync one.

Almost bought the same monitor and a rtx 2080 last week for $700, but decided to spend more than that pokemon cards instead

That makes me both confused and disappointed at the same time. Congrats.

AMD confirms they have landed Google and Twitter as they launch their new EPYC server chips. LINK

AMD said on Thursday that Google is using its second-generation EPYC server chip in Google’s internal data centers and that Google will offer it to external developers as part of its cloud computing offerings later this year. It is the first time Google has publicly acknowledged using AMD’s EPYC chips.

Also, just a heads up, VA panels suck dick. The one in my MSI monitor is significantly shittier looking than the TN that was in my Asus.
