Lemme go ahead and tell you what is going to happen.....
1) Gotta have RGB
2) RGB everything
3) You are gonna look at it and be like "That's a shite ton of light"
4) Grow tired of it
5) Wish you would have spent more money on better stuff than RGB
6) Move to completely matte black everything

the only lights i currently have is the red LEDs on the MOBO and the red "RADEON" light on my GPU. i kinda like it which is holding me back on the aftermarket cooler like UH got. do i give up better temps for red lit lettering? i probably should.

You fckking nailed the progression.
I to in the late 2010s had cathode lighting and some LEDs in case. You grow tired of it.
I'm going to grab some old main rig pics off the NAS and post.
I bet most just read the word cathode for the first time. =)
Edt: Im not giving you shtt. Using LEDs everywhere is like growing stages in PC Gaming. We all went through it.

I bought one of the Sapphire and Radeon to try from freeze mod. Anything is better than the Arctic sticker.

If you have zero intention of overclocking, the 3600x might make sense, but even then you're paying 25% more for maybe 3% better performance overall at stock. So it's not a good value at all.
Tl;DR: The 3600x and 3800x you shouldn't buy
They are filling up the price gaps for the consumer. For us, we are like "wow, why is AMD doing this?". Intel does the same thing.
But from there perspective, they are giving the consumer more product to choose from, and it doesn't cost them anything additional to make the chips.

I have an old fx8350, ram, mobo, and CPU cooler. My stepbrother wants to build a pc to see if he likes pc gaming. Does it make sense to throw together a 1080/60fps build with that stuff to save him some money or just build from scratch? I figure that will save him around 500 bucks.

That fake 8core will work just fine to test 1080p/60fps.

Kinda what I figured. Good entry level point. Would support 1080 just fine until he decided he wanted higher resolution and refresh rates.

I have a Position X that I spec'd out with new WTB 42x700c tires, converted to a 1x34T in front, new 130mm neck, about it.
It cheap entry lvl, I paid $700. Nothing is carbon fiber but that the beauty. I can not worry about messing up a $3K bike and have fun. No clutch but don't need it really.
Also take my Haro Aeras 19 with 44x700C Clements, 7speed 1x34T, a few other things too. No drops on the Haro, it's a straight bar. But I use it for gravel rides when we do a little woods, etc. Also ride it with the dog.
I'll post pics.
