I'm a Super Flower and Seastone fanboy when it comes to PSUs. Most EVGAs are rebranded Super Flower PSUs.
Who's the other OEM? NEC?

Is 550 enough?
Yep. The stuff from your Amazon wish list only comes to about 330.

They still have your SSD listed for $350 instead of $99. That's why the cost is so much higher.

That doesn't account boost clocks for CPU and GPU.
Under load it will mostly likely pull closer to 400. But remember even a SFx PSU rated for 350W will have a +50 overage rating on the chokes and compacitors most likely. You never spec something out at it's theoretical limit.
Still enough though.
And yes agree, 550 is hella enough.

Several over the years. Seasonic in some cases.
All PSUs are really only made by 3 companies. But also within those 3 companies you have factories and parts divisions with higher or lower QA/QC.
It's like buying that expensive Cadillac SRX like we have but some come from an Mexican factory and another from US of A factory.
PCper has a good but aging write up on this, I will find and link below.
Edt: sorry it was Real Hard Techz

Old old old article but breaks down what you should look for when buying a PSU.

Yes the Supernova 850 P2 that I got last year has been great.

Who down voted you?
It's one of your less hype without research posts ever. Those NOVAs, esp gen 2s are great PSUs. Think they are all rebranded Seasonics. Look at the link I provided on the previous page.
I've owned AX1200w Corsair PSUs over the years and they are hands down the worst PSUs I've owned. Paying $450+ and still having coil whine kills me.
Know the components you are purchasing before hand. Never assume the brand label means anything. Do research.

Yeah I ran into some of that stuff when I was diagnosing my half dead PSU last year.
Got that super flower evga 850 p2 at a good price on an amazon deal for $129.

PSUs are just one of those components where label doesn't matter like other components. See what you are grtting, research the series/line you plan to purchase.
Tons of ppl are in the dark about these issues.

Anybody got a recommendation for a good $50-60 case? Bought the B450 Tomahawk Board so this build is officially under way.

My case (Corsair 200R) is only about $5 more. I'd recommend that one if you don't want a stupid window.
I assume this is the mobo you got?
Not a bad build at all.

Yup, that’s the board. I may end up getting the MSI Vega 56 OC because I’ve never heard of PowerColor. Going through some of the reviews on Amazon didn't sound to good. What’s y’alls thoughts on PowerColor?
ETA: I may get the 650 PSU instead of the 550 because it’s only a $5 difference on Amazon as well.

RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super benchmarks
2060 Super and 2070 super benchmarks hitting today.
2060 Super is BARELY slower than 2070 or even on par. 2070 super looking pretty good, gamersnexus got an overclock that made it on par with a 2080.
Guru 3d got about 9% better performance with overclocks on their 2060 super and 2070 super.
