Wow, that's crazy that they collabed like that. Makes sense for both parties though. AMD has dominated the APU scene for years and Intel still owns them in the CPU department

So I found out today the company has been bought out and will require a move to KC buy the end of the year.

Yeah, leak shows one in at least the new HP Spectre x360 and they expect the new XPS to get them as well.

I may finally pull the trigger on a nice 2in1, Dell 13" XPS 2 in 1 or the 13" HP Spectre x360. We'll see how they look and what they pack for the price at CES next week. The new XPS leak if accurate looks fantastic.

Only thing that's leaked is some possible specs 8th gen i7, likely one with Intel+Vega like the HP Spectre, supposedly one with a 1060 but I would imagine only on the 15", and a couple of photos they teased awhile back of the all white one.

2018 Dell XPS 13 hands on

Not the 2 in 1 though that is CES reveal, like the makeover though, still no dGPU on the 13" gives me concern there won't be one in the 2 in 1 unless they offer the Intel+Vega chip like HP.

Can't really put it anywhere else with the edgeless display. Much rather have no bezels but I also wouldn't use the webcam even once.

Any good gaming laptops coming out in the next 2-3 months that I should be looking at? How about any that’s out now? Budget of $2000.

CES is next week so pay attention to that for what will be coming out soon in that regard. Multiple new gaming laptops will be at CES.

UH mentioned wait for CES but I dont see why unless you are waiting for new 8th gen CPUs. Even then you still get 4 cores with the 7th gens. No new gpus are out until Spring 2018.

Look into the Dell Inspiron 7000 15 Gaming laptops with a GTX 1060 and i7 for $1K.

Why do you want to purchase a gaming laptop with such a high budget?

The Switch has revived my interest in gaming. I've been taking weeks off at a time from PC gaming, still a half-finished AC Origins I haven't touched in two weeks, but now I can't get enough Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart. I've done a few hours of Zelda (first four shrines) but need more downtime to really focus on that one. Looks very intimidating.

It’s not that I necessarily want to spend that much, that’s how much I have set aside for this purchase. I’ll be glad to spend like 1200, but if I can get a better bang for anywhere up to 2000, then I’ll definitely consider.
