Wish I would have known about that alphacool before I bought my other 360 earlier last week. Would have matched my alphacool st240 I bought

I'd just decided to replace it Sunday night, so it would've been too late anyway. Just need to give my loop a little more cooling power without turning up the fans too much. They are gentle typhoons, and if I can keep them at about 1000rpm, they are near silent. But my CPU is getting into the mid-70s now when I play something that's using both cards at full load and considerable CPU.

It's all good. I shouldn't be too worried about looks anyway. I have two different style rads and like 10 different types of fittings

I went ahead and bought a bunch of random lots of 1/2x3/4 compression fittings off eBay to ensure I'd have extra

This damn 7700k puts out some heat for sure. Big reason why I'm going custom.

I'm in the closed beta of Quake Champions. Kind of boring tbh.

My fricking ram is too tall and it blocks my 45° angle adapter that would be on my CPU block

It's the plain ole Corsair vengeance (the non-Low profile) with massive heatsinks. Gotta order an extension fitting and wait to put my shite together next Tuesday

I've been out of the news loop for the past few weeks.

Been in China for business.

Is it worth upgrading my r9 380 to an rx580?

Fwiw, I have a 1080p 75hz freesync monitor, the vg245h from Asus.

Do you drop below 75hz in the games you play?

Occasionally in a few games. Witcher 3 on ultra will have moments it will spike down to 30-40 fps. Skyrim does occasionally as well.

Dirt Rally and Project Cars perform really well.

Edit: Can't really make up my mind between staying with my current setup and frankly for the hell of it getting a Ryzen 7 and 2 1080tis, and get a new 4k monitor

Intel desktop sales down 7% in Q1 year over year.

Apparently the Intel CEO slipped up and basically said that AMD is going to take some of the server market as well, I said all along Naples is the AMD money maker, Intel owns like 97% of the server market as is and it is worth so much $$$$.

Intel expects CPU prices to fall

Not so much worried about price but picture quality. I am upgrading from a 48" where the speaker went bad. The space is not big enough for over about a 60"

Couldn't tell you. I'm still using a 48 inch Sony 1080p TV I bought 2 years ago.

EVGA Supernova 550 G3 PSU - $84.99
Ripjaws V (2x8) DDR4 - $112.99
ASRock H270M-ITX/ac LGA 1151 Intel H270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Motherboards - Intel - $106.99
Cooler Master Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case - $49.99
HD/SSDs - got a few extra lying around

Total: $932

Opinions?
