I heard we had someone running all over the state today picking up water cooling parts.
Are your cards at 2200 or can't hit that until blocks? I've never run my TITAN Pascals without blocks so not sure what the upper limit is on air.
Edt: Software needs to catch up. We really have no reason for upgrading coming up. But it is a pendulum. It swings to hard advantage then software advantage every few years.

Got blocks on them yesterday. I don't think 2200 is typical. Based on what I'm reading on OCN, good cards will hit 2100. Mine do 2050. Haven't messed with a custom bios yet though. Voltage limited to 1.093 right now.
I'm replacing one of these alphacool ST30 360s with an EK coolstream EX 480 this week.

I hit 2150 on them in game but run at 2100 because it isn't the most stable.
Just thought the 1080 Tis hit 2200.

Oh damn. Serious? 2100 was soo easy to achieve I thought it was the norm. I don't venture far into the forums anymore. Don't run pass 2150 because it is a little unstable with demanding titles.

You are making me get out of bed to check my max voltage.
I thought my max voltage was 1.12mV. WTF is wrong with me. It just shows you how much attention I pay to this shtt now. I used to now limits like it was spelling my name.

Believe this is a typo. If not we will call the fire department. Your house is in flames.

2100 is pretty much it for 1080 tis, with or without water. I haven't tried overclocking mine individually though to see if either will hit 2100.

I also never do that.
If it's the main rig, I'm running something in SLi. So what is the point? Sure you feel the same.

Think I am going to move this older H100i to my Mame arcade computer and do a few upgrades to it.
Want to do a better loop for my new 7700k. Think I am going to stick with a 240 radiator because I don't think my case will handle a 280 very well. Kinda want to keep the budget around $200. Is one of the XPSC kits pretty decent? Looking at one with the Ion Pump/Resi because it seems to be a decent size to fit in my case without much issue.
Where would ya'll look?

I bought a few golf carts this weekend at an auction. Would it be dorky to paint one I plan on using for various things the same color as the truck I will be pulling it with?

But you know the answer.
Edt: On a serious note. My Dad is that guy. Well my step mom. They have an 2010 F-450 King Ranch with matching Raptor toy hauler and golf cart.
My Dad isnt caught up with the ghey. Really all that is per the step mom's request. She has zero taste and style.
Edt: Oh they also live in a double wide. Their truck and camper are worth more than the home.

I do not take part in most of the activities. Thank God for the internet.
Was always a little different though. My great grandfather and grandfather are both Englishmen who set up a denistry in a very back woods location. So always stuck up until dentistry became somewhat normal in the 1950s - 60s.

Yeah, a Raystorm kit from XSPC is decent. The Ion pump is perfectly fine for a low-restriction loop (i.e., one block and one radiator), but not if you want to expand your loop down the road to add a GPU block, extra radiator, etc.
EDIT: if your case has room for a 360 rad, you can have an alphacool ST 30. Coyote gave two of them to me years ago, and I'm replacing one with an EK Coolstream XE 480 on Wednesday. I also have a Raystorm block I'm not using.

What is really interesting is the people that have never and will never travel outside of LA or at the most the South and have no perspective on what life is like in other parts of the country.

I am probably going to do it anyway but only because I like the color and I have some paint for it already from another project. I was going to paint it black but too many of those already around.

I don't think there is a good spot for a 360 in a FD R4. I may take you up on that though and get a new case and use this R4 for the media server that was formerly the MAME setup. Was just gonna dump it in a budget case. Want to keep something simplistic like this, but I would like to have one bay for a dvd drive. Seems like everyone is removing these bays completely. I get it, but I have a ton of old discs and like having access to them. Got any ideas?

I'd just buy an external DVD drive and not limit your case options. Corsair 450D might give you the room for a 360 rad and optical drive.

Or when I tell my parents or SOs family about my co-workers on projects. They are usually Xpats. So my boss is from South Korea, the guy in the next cube is French-Canadian and my other 2 co-workers in the group are Japanese. I'm usually the minority within my department.
Ppl in America, not just in the South really do not respect other cultures. It is so fckking ignorant. I'm a public school kid from the outside of Thibodaux. I started with that stupid mindset, but learn and grow as you journey in life.
This seems simple to ppl like us because we have this weird PC hobby (even though mainstream now). We seek knowledge. Can't say the same for almost anyone I grew up or graduated high school with 12yrs ago. It is worse in the South. Ppl here can not see outside their bubbles. Hunt, fish, drink.. what a life. Sounds awesome but that is ALL most of the people around here are interested in.
