We've contracted them before. They did a decent job picking up after they finished the job

Coffee Lake rumor seems to be true with 6C/12T. Skylake-E should also be 8C/16T. I just want Skylake-E for the better memory controller.
Digi Digi Times
Edt: Nevermind.. Skylake is rumored at 12C/24T? This has to be the top tier models and not the entry level ones. Believe the 7930/50K will still be 8C/16T.

...As for the 14nm-based Coffee Lake-based processors, Intel will initially release several K-series Core i7/i5/i3 processors and its Z370 chipsets in August, and will release more CPUs as well as H370, B360 and H310 chipsets at the end of 2017 or early 2018.

The Basin Falls-based products are expected to be launched at the E3 gaming show in the US in June, with the official release at the end of the month.
The Skylake-X series has three 140W processors featuring 6-, 8- and 10-core architectures, while the Kaby Lake-X series has an 112W quad-core processor. In August, Intel will release a top-end 12-core Skylake-X processor.

Not sure if I am going to. About to break ground on building an office and warehouse instead of renting and am saving my pennies to pay for it all or at least the majority of it so I don't have a mortgage on it.
Yeah we are about to build again sometime in 2018. I want to upgrade to Big Pascal when it is released but need to hold off.
Hard justifying $2400 for cards plus blocks. Price needs to come down but they won't unless VEGA is priced well for the consumers.
Edt: How big of an office? Office with warehouse in back or all connected with facade?

All connected. I am still working on the plans but nothing stupid huge. Metal building with a brick front. Large office for me and the other usual scrub offices, kitchen, etc
When I say a warehouse, I mean like between 700 and 800 sq ft which is more than enough for what I need.

Sounds fun. Really.
I want to stop spending money (which I have) and start investing more into stupid ideas which make money in the South. Sometimes I don't understand that Baws have money and Baws love wasting money. So you can sell Baws really stupid things.
Example, a buddy here is making money off of a really dumb idea that everyone around the area already does for their decoys.

Even as an consultant in most of my positions that still feels too tied down. Esp since we are trying to start a family. I want to be there for my kids everyday and still be able to rack in a fairly good income.

I have 3 business ideas I am trying to implement one at a time. My current business does well and I have a good staff that I feel can manage it with less input from me while I venture into other things.
I will be in Baton Rouge the first week of next month trying to get everything arranged for one of my ideas and am waiting on my paperwork to form a collection agency for another idea.
The other one I just don't have time for now but it's a great passive income once I implement it. By no means is it revolutionary but it doesn't need to be.

Funny you say that. While exiting off 210 tonight, was on the phone with the SO talking about a guy from the area who went from selling roids to starting a collection agency in Lafayette. Good guy. About 8yrs ago he bought the SO a $300 gift card to a spa in Houma for her birthday. We used it for a couples massage, my first and only time. Thanks dude!

Exactly. Just small steady incomes coming in from different places.
Edt: Don't you do some repo or clean out houses for repo companies? I know that is probably just part of it.

PC Gaming has become even more tacky.
Those goofy racing chairs, moar RGBs, Reds and Blacks schemes, graphics on everything.
We got to a point 3-4yrs ago where clean Scandinavian design started becoming the norm. Now we are back with almost everything looking like a 6yr old boy put it together.

The terrible racing chairs make me laugh, but I can't say much. My wife is a commercial interior designer, so I get her old samples of high end office chairs when I get a chance. They are usually is some wacky color, silver right now. Tried to get one of the nice UT chairs they put in Neyland and the coaches offices, but they wouldn't give me one. She actually got me one of those ball chairs recently, I don't use it all the time, but they are a nice change of pace.

Why?
Just because I hate shtty design doesn't mean I'm a complete a-hole.
Edt: The SO reads my posts at times since she lurks TD. She will give me shtt. I may be a little hard to live with..

Trying to get the cooler off one of 1080 Tis using an improper tool, I accidentally snapped off a teeny tiny SMD capacitor from the back of the card. I need a smart person to tell me what that capacitor does. My card still seems to work fine....

Ha ha, no telling what you effected.
I'd put the cooler back on and try to get it replaced.

Yeah... It's amazon so it will be easy. But god dammit I was set to do my entire loop tonight. I'm going to proceed. I'm going to be overclocking and testing heavily over the next several days so I'll know if it's an immediate problem.
Might ask the folks at overclock.net and see what they say.
I might could do a super-glue/liquid metal job (solder is out of the question), but the cap is so damn tiny.
