It can't reliably get more than 4.0 in general. However, those vids show a Ryzen at 3.9 reaching a 7700K at 5.0.
Only one of the three 7700K at HardOCP was able to get to 5.0 and it needed to be delidded to get there.
My 1700X is beast mode at 3.9. Another encouraging tidbit is that I don't really need to be concerned with getting 3200 RAM as my 2666 CL14 is within a few fps.

I've got a 4700K combo for sale if anyone is interested. It's got 16GB (2x8) of 1866 DDR3 and can clock to 4.5 for me. Mainboard is a GA-Z87X-UD4H.

Hello there, fellows. I believe the time has come to upgrade my PC, starting with the graphics card. I'm currently running a GTX 780, which still does its job, but gaming at 1440p on newer releases is an issue. I'm thinking about getting a GTX 1080, or perhaps even a 1080 Ti (if I'm feeling particularly "adventurous"), though that seems like overkill. Any thoughts?
Additionally, I should mention that I'm making use of a (slightly) overclocked i7 4770k. Is that still seen as an acceptable CPU?

Gonna grab an international S8+, finally a phone with everything I've been wanting, no bezels just all gorgeous screen space!!!! First smartphone with HDR certification and the 10nm Snapdragon 835. I am excited to say the least.

I got the SO a S7 before our Vegas trip last September.
She fckking hates it and so do I. The thing always needs to be reimaged. It slows down after awhile so quickly.
Idk if she can even wait for the new Pixel. Might need to pull the trigger this month.

I have an S6 and have had no issues with it, I am getting an S8 when they come out.
