Enjoyed the first. Release date?

Hopefully they let this one bake a bit longer than they did the first one. The first was really, really close to being great, but it just felt... hollow.

It was far too short. DLC definitely did the IP justice

The direct they did specifically about this game was great. Made it seem like they put a lot more time into fleshing this one out.

Yeah, I was expecting a lot from a team of developers that was heavily involved in the GOAT (Fallout NV).
The art style and world building was pretty great, so they have a good foundation to build on. I didn't have any issues with the length, or with the game being only semi-open world. I think that the "hollowness" came from a lot of the side missions being fairly dull, which was definitely not the case for the earlier Fallout 1/2/NV (or 3, even though I don't believe that the developers were involved with that one).
The anti-capitalism in the beginning of the trailer made me think that it would be even more heavy-handed than the first, but they made up for it by making fun of that message at the end. I'll be playing this one eventually, as it's likely going to be better than whatever Bethesda ends up shitting out for Fallout 5.

yeah i really liked the first one. i think it was enough of a success hopefully they could fine tune and make this one fantastic.

Granted with some of the real life corporate malfeasance going on it can be hard to write satire but it seems a bit on the nose. I can get over it if other aspects of the game have stepped up from the first game though.

couldn't even play the first one. had no personality. all the characters were the same model with slightly different facial features in order to not offend anyone. woke studio. no thanks.

Glad this is a Day 1 on Gamepass. I enjoyed the last one so I am hoping more money/time means better game!

Definitely I’ll play this since on Gamepass. The first just felt too shallow. I think it’s because the tone was satirical all the time. They took the wrong lessons from New Vegas. I’ll give them another chance.
