origins, odyssey or black flag ?

Origins and Odyssey are the best playing AC games in the series. Black Flag is good, more traditional, but has a lot of boat combat. I'm not into that personally, but just pointing out it's a major focus in the game. I think Odyssey has a fair amount of boat combat as well.
Odyssey is really more of Origins but with a lot more content, some have said too much. I think Origins is the better game, but depends on if you want Egypt or Greece as a setting.

Black Flag pounced on everyone going nuts over the naval combat in AC3. If you enjoyed that and the overall pirate theme, you'll have a blast with it.

I preferred the Egypt map from Origins
But Kassandra and the combat system in Odyssey made up for it.

Black Flag is my favorite, but one of the reasons is that it really doesn't feel like an AC game

Origins is my favorite by a long shot. Really the best advertising for a vacation to Egypt if it wasn’t full of unrest and Muslim Brotherhood.

Origins. If you know the AC franchise's backstory up to that game, it gives you a lot of great little "so, THAT'S where that comes from" nuggets, hence: Origins. The poignancy of where the Assassin's logo comes from paired with the echoes of the moment of its creation through the AC universe makes its reveal one of my favorite moments in all of the franchise.
Plus, "less ancient" Egypt is absolutely visually stunning and they do a great job of making you realize just what the word "ancient" really means. Origins takes place over a thousand years before the events of the original Assassin's Creed (the one with Altair during the Crusades) and the Pyramids are already thousands of years old and steeped in legend and mystery in the game.

The most recent 2 are the best since, but Black Flag has always been my favorite in the series. The scenery and story are my most enjoyable and I LOVED the naval combat. I could see how some wouldn’t like that as much but it also had all the other elements that makes AC series great. It’s the best Pirates of the Carribean game ever made

You can't go wrong with either Origins or Odyssey. Egypt and Greece are awesome to explore. Love the combat play in Odyssey. I whoop some major arse with the poison daggers

The naval combat in BF took me a bit to get use to, but eventually I got the hang of it. Pretty good all around game.

You're not gonna go wrong with any but i really enjoyed origins a lot. Great game play and I thought the story was great. The first two DLC add a lot to it. The third, i didnt enjoy much.
