Defense is a whole lot harder to play than older NCAA’s. I’ve been getting shredded through the air and by read option offenses.
I guess EA told the NCAA to frick off with licensing. There’s no mention of “NCAA” anywhere in the game. Anywhere that would otherwise reference NCAA, like on stats leaders, just says “National”
I wish Play Now wouldnt keep crashing on me. I wanted to play in the Pop Tarts Bowl and see if the players would eat the giant pop tart mascot to celebrate a win

Yeah defense is extremely difficult. Even Madden pros on YouTube are giving up massive, massive points

you can change kicking from "tap and hold" to "tap and tap"

On RPO's if you want to pass it you have to pass it to whatever icon after the snap IMMEDIATELY to prevent having a lineman downfield

Observations so far after two games and a ton of recruiting in an LSU dynasty
- This game lived up to the hype
- Nuss has a cannon
- Mason Taylor is always open
- CJ Daniels in the slot is the best receiver in the country
- controlling defensive lineman never gets pressure
- defense is extremely challenging
- Will Campbell is a god on the left side
- Nyck Harbour is the most OP player in the game. 99 speed, Acceleration, and i think jumping at like 6'7 250. He got national player of the week in week 1 with 12 catches, 315 yards, and 3 scores
- tiger stadium is awesome in the game
- LSU's under looked OP player is Jelani Watkins. 98 speed and blows by people.
- this game lived up to the hype
ETA - as a guy who ran a shite ton of read option/triple option for 11 years in NCAA 14, this new system is a nightmare

I played a good bit tonight on Dynasty. I’m doing a Coastal Carolina rebuild.
I’m playing on All American and it’s pretty tough.The CPU will punish you if you try to force throws.
I’m really enjoying the running in this game, it’s much more enjoyable than Madden that’s for sure.
I’m having a blast so far.

Update. I won the starting job before the next game (sorry nuss) and ran the table. Now 8-4 going to the SEC championship

i wish there was a practice mode
i ran an RPO twice and the RB ran off with the ball both times when i intended to throw.

Don’t know what Freeze did to piss off literally every player at Auburn but I just jumped to Auburn as their new OC and I lost 3 starting offensive linemen, starting RB and a senior receiver to the portal

i'll go against the majority and say that the running style is very similar to madden. or maybe it's just because my experience with madden is very limited, but running/cutting/juking/spinning is very slow motion like madden when compared to ncaa14.
spins moves were nearly instantaneous in '14. now it's more like the guy stops and spins and it all appears to be in slow motion.
i'm sure it's just something to used to going forward, but old habits with NCAA 14 is very hard to break.
