What in the frick are you babbling about? NCAA Football was the most beloved game in the PS2/PS3 days and it had cover athletes then.

Not sure what I am more interested in, the gameplay or dynasty details. Even if the gameplay is meh, I can still have fun with a deep dynasty mode. Conversely, if the dynasty mode is meh but the gameplay is elite, I can always make my own fun with it and may even venture into playing online again.

I've never understood the ultimate team stuff. EA is going to win either way. It has been so long since the last one that only us old asses remember what it was like 
The younger generation will be hyped no matter what and will shell out the cash because its their first dive into it.

I think the general idea of it all is good - take a fantasy team of today’s greats and the legends of the past and play through different challenges and competitions and such.
The execution of it is arse though. But it’s a feature that is present in a lot of games and it’s just not really my cup of tea. If the gameplay were better I’d probably engage more with it despite the meh execution but the meh gameplay doesn’t give me an incentive to try it.

I kinda like Ultimate team somewhat. I just refuse to do any in-game purchases.
I’d rather grind it out to having a good team and kicking some guys arse that paid for a loaded roster:
