My favorite thing about this game is all the people on Twitter who post clips of themselves losing and saying “I can’t wait for Madden”

Especially all the “pro” Madden players

Good info here on pass protection:

Thanks for posting that, I messed around with the slide protections yesterday and it made a huge difference. It's amazing how I don't throw 5 picks a game when I'm not running for my life and chunking prayers down the field

I started a dynasty with Texas just to play out my realignment dreams.
Reunited the Big XII
SEC back to 12 with divisions
Big 10 back to 10
PAC 12 back to OGPAC 10.
Restored the MWC
Restored and enhanced the Big East (added Penn State and ND, removed Miami to ACC)
Basically, restored geographical balance to the sport and reunited rivalries across the board.

Just finished regular season and it’s a bloodbath lol!!
Nobody is undefeated and everyone outside the top 5 has 3+ losses. Would have made for an amazing real regular season! Oh how I wish ESPN and the conference suits hadn’t ruined the sport I love

Dynasty update: after my tenure as App St. OC, became HC at Memphis. The Tigers had 3 straight years of 10+ wins, 2 AAC Championships, and 2 playoff wins before accepting an invitation to the Big 12. After a 9-4 year(including a winning conference record!) I have accepted a job as HC of my alma mater, Arkansas.

God I'm so glad it's back

I do more of a job hopping thing.

I’m starting as OC at New Mexico and am going to try and get an OC job at a bigger west coast school, then eventually a big time HC job out there

Maybe I’ll try and come back to New Mexico as an HC and make them great and get them in the big 12 or something.

That’s what I love about this game. There is an endless number of ways to play it.

I don’t really know what it’s called, but it’s more a a “precision” run. You can also use it when you’re running down the field and need to let your blockers get in position,
As opposed to just running past them and getting tackled

It’s funny how bad all streaming madden players suck at the game

And are shocked the same broken shite that’s in Madden isn’t broken in CFB 25. I literally watched the “number 1 Madden player” Henry get upset because he couldn’t stop Wildcat, calling it a glitch then turned around and used glitch nano blitzes when his opponent went to regular shotgun

Man this game loves k-state a lot. In my usce dynasty they played me in the NC. In my WVU one they played me in the big 12 title game and now in the semis

Any playbooks y’all recommend? I’ve been leaning towards the generic Power Spread since it has tight end sets as well as your traditional spread looks

KState is fun- they have a couple nice stop and go arrow routes that are awesome in short yardage and I’m surprised I haven’t seen in a lot of other playbooks, I like UCF, wake is a lot of fun. LSUs is great if you’ve got the TEs to run it

LA tech was a fun one too. Lot of slot motion into a flat route that can be great against slower man corners and there’s a lot of creative things you can do with it pre snap. Felt the passing game had a lot of depth to their playbook

Gameplay is awesome but dynasty is broken. Player ratings across the board in 4 years is so inflated its not even funny. Some positions have 180+ players rated 80 and higher. Also why does every generatrd MLB have the arm brace, most Qbs have long sleeves, etc. It really kills the immersion. I tested the xp sliders and they don't fix the inflated ratings issue at all, even with them set at 0.

I can deal with questionable poll rankings and even the stats issue. What I can't deal with is how nearly half of the generated players are rated 80 and above about 3 or 4 years into dynasty. That messes with gameplay because almost every starter is just as good as each other. It makes for little player separation from one to the next.

If they fix this with a patch it will probably be my favorite game ever but until then it makes dynasty nearly unplayable.

Simulating defense and only playing offense on dynasty is the way to go. Plus my defense is way better when I’m not playing

How long of quarters are you playing?

8 min but why would that matter? I'm pretty sure quarter length doesn't make much difference in national stats. Also rating changes are just random so it doesn't matter if your player had a great season or not.

Really wish the would fix the “Pro Potential” perk/pitch.

My QB threw for over 6,000 yards & over 60 TDs
My WR set all kinds of records and won the Heisman

Yet neither one went pro and came back for their senior years and my Pro Potential pitch dropped from an A+ to a B-

Also that QB may have went up only 1 OVR in the offseason. Wth

Generally, yes. I've seen some videos where recruits decommit, but have never had it happen to me in my dynasties. Once I'm locked out I move on however, I have had several kids that develop a dealbreaker but keep me as their top school and end up commiting anyway.

Yup I was number two for this 5 star athlete and he wound up committing to Louisville. His dealbreaker was championship contender and their score fell too low and he reopened his recruiting and I went all in on him.

Glad I did too because he was an 84/85 overall MLB and started his sophomore year as a 93. Kid would be a first round lock after this season.
