I've found Kansas to be the best team I like using when playing against my buddies

My assumption as well. I'm going to try boosting up the player pass coverage awareness slider and see if that helps at all. If i'm playing single high safety and press man on the outside and just get burned, so be it. that shouldn't be the case if i'm calling the right defense to prevent that while also not being given enough time to realistically pressure the QB.

Putting player speed threshold at 70 or 75 has helped me a lot too.

I don’t know if they patched the rushing game or what, but all of a sudden I can’t run the ball and the CPU can’t run it against me.

My offensive line is getting DESTROYED on every rush, especially by DTs.

How many games did play to come to this theory? I thought the same thing last night but I also lowered my run blocking to 40 amd raised cpu tackling to 55, so I figured that was the reason why for me. The cpu run game was still doing good things.

I’m in game 9 of my dynasty, but have also played 10 or so exhibition games.

Maybe it’s the AI “adjusting” to my play style in my dynasty. That would be cool if it were done in a way that made sense. If they started crashing down safeties or LBs in certain formations that would be awesome.

It’s not what’s happening though. My offensive line is just getting blown up on every rush.

ETA: It’s really strange because up until today I was really enjoying the rushing game on both sides.

For those of you who have the game, is the wishbone formation included in any of the triple option playbooks?

Can someone explain to me like I’m 8 years old how to use the passing meter in revamped passing mode?

Do I physically control the meter itself separate from hitting the button for the WR I want to throw to? If so, how?

I’m not having difficulty passing generally but I’m not seeing the QB meter change at all when passing, so I feel like im not using revamped passing to its potential

Using PS5 fyi.

I dont think so. I think it's specifically how long you hold the button down. You can't hold it down too long or it will go yellow or red.

If it's giving you too much trouble, try switching to classic. Placement and Accuracy is somewhat similar to revamped.

Yeah they're one of my favorites to use online. Great RB and QB and a surprisingly really good playbook

I haven’t had any issues adjusting to the passing meter. It’s simple as hell. Are you leading your receivers with the left stick? Maybe it’s YOU and not the game. You say the defense is nonexistent?? My last three games, on all American difficulty I’ve given up 17, 28, and 21 points. I got my arse kicked at first but I adjusted…

Is the game perfect? No it’s not. Clearly it still needs some polishing. But you front running cry babies bitched and complained for the better part of a decade, and now that you can’t perform how you expected to perform, you think the game is trash. I honestly don’t get the mindset of some of you people

I somewhat agree. This isn't NCAA 14 and what you're used to. It's way closer to Madden but it's still different than Madden. But if you haven't played much of the newer Maddens, you're going to be behind the 8 ball.

If you dont like the revamped passing, just swap to classic. No meter or nothing. Defense IS difficult, especially if you're playing a team that's better than yours. For example, I played as Baylor vs Kansas State and they moved the ball effortlessly on me, breaking tackles, perfect reads. Didn't matter what defense I used or what adjustments I made or if I showed a different shell. So I get the defensive complaints for sure. Everything else, yeah. There's nothing clunky about it other than defense.

The meter is controlled by how long you hold down the button. That also somewhat dictates if your throw is more of a rope or you lob it. The windows are pretty big for how long you want to hold it down. On tighter throws, the "perfect" window is much smaller.

If you just tap the button, it will throw a softer more accurate throw, with some loft. The longer you hold it down, the harder the throw will be, flatter, but prone to be a little less accurate.

It isn't completely different from the classic mode, you just have a little more control over the power of the throw and maybe a little less control of the arc of the throw.

Agree. I messed around with the placement and accuracy mode for a bit last night and it was pretty solid. Though, a little more difficult to put air under the ball accurately, but you get more control for back shoulders and stuff. Going to go back to revamped and see which one I like more.

I'll have to check for wishbone in triple option playbooks specifically but it is for sure in the game. Multiple Offense playbook has it I know.

I wasn't nearly as accurate with it IN GAME versus practice mode but I'm still going to stick with placement and accuracy. A little practice with it each day in practice mode and against the CPU before heading online will do wonders I think. It's just more satisfying for me.

The inability to run on AA mode vs. running too easily on varsity is drastic.
