OG Modern Warfare 2 and 3 have gotten new ratings in Austrailia and hints at remasters...

Both were given the classification on April 3 with a production date of 2025. For Modern Warfare 2, the game rated is a “PS5 Cross-Gen Edition”. Modern Warfare 3’s rating doesn’t mention PS5 rather just it being cross-gen as well.

They may release the campaigns at some point but releasing all the games with MP would probably cannibalize the newer games player count resulting among other things lower revenue. It is a shame that MS seems to be just sitting on a bunch of owned properties and games and not really doing much with them. Its ridiculous that titles from the mid 20teens are still $60.00.
They are just de incentivizing anyone from purchasing them. Id pay $10.00-$15.00 to play some of those campaigns over again.
